Scosche reVIVE Quad 4-Port USB Wall Charger for $4.99 + shipping
Wow, who woulda guessed that all four of us quadruplets would need to charge our iPhones at the same time?
2A ouput for 4 ports = 0.5A per port. Isn't that typical for your normal iPhone AC adapter?
Shipping for 1 is $1.99. For 2 it's $3.78. Limit of 2.
$1.99 shipping.
I'm tempted - would be especially great for traveling, and also when you need to charge several things on your nightstand or what not.
On the other hand, maybe not:

This review is from: Scosche reVIVE Quad 4-Port USB Home Charger for iPhone/iPod/Blackberry/MP3 Players (Black) (Electronics)
I bougth this because I have several Apple devices plus other usb powered ones, oh well, it will not charge my ipad at all, and my iphone stop charging after I connect something else, also I have 2 usb powered fans that when i conected them together, the fans speed decreased a lot. It looks good but does not meet my expactations or requirements. "
The power user version of this charger is the QUSBH4, available at Amazon for $18 - http://www.amazon.com/Scosche-QUSBH4-reVIVE-IV-Charger/dp/B004QOAGOQ/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1330668779&sr=8-4
It output 4A, so each device gets 1A which should be enough for all your tablet and phone combination needs.
Extra 5% off with code "CouponCabin" (got code from princeendos listing that isn't a dupe)
@astyanax: look at the picture after you click on the link, ait says that the power is 2A. I am just assuming that is a total output power and each port gets 0.5A. I might buy 1 just to test it under load. It is cheap enough
according to the product description of the product you linked to:
"Four USB ports allow you to charge four devices at once2 Amp total output: 500mA x 4"
So, at least from the product description (and product image), the output appears to be 2A, not 4A.
@tsfisch: Thanks. I was noticing how they carefully didn't mention the iPad (meaning that it's not compatible) but your reviews clinch it.
They do say 'iPad' once right at the top of the description. This is misleading if it's not putting out more than half an amp as this will only charge an iPad if the iPad is turned off. I've been burned by that.
Oh, and it'll take forever to charge your smartphone, too.
Looks like the reviews on Amazon are fine:

People in general seem to have beef with USB chargers. Its hard to find ones above 4 stars (for a good price).
In for one. Cheap. Why not?
On my Ipad 1, it says 2.1 Amps. This product says 2 (presume no rounding, and its 2.0). So, in theory, its just shy of covering the Ipad spec. Probably works, but maybe not... and you are on your own since you are out of spec. Also, if one did hook an Ipad up out of spec, you'd have to be doubly careful that the other 3 USB ports were empty, as that would clearly be pulling too much power.
@skiteton: because of many of the things said above...
Use this for serious charging.

2.1A x2
The issue with most USB chargers is that they only charge at .5A when most smart phones need 1A and Pads need 2A. This is true even for devices that specifically say that a port is capable 1A/2A. While it is true that some devices are lying about what they can do, usually the device itself is not requesting a charge of more than .5A.
The USB 1 spec says that a Motherboard(MB) must supply .5A to a USB port, and so to be backwards compatible, device makers make sure that they don't pull more than .5A if connect to a computer.
The problem with most chargers is that they are not internally shorting the pins that tell the device that it is not a computer. This is something you can do yourself is you feel handy enough with a soldering iron and are willing to crack your device open.
Some people have charge cables that look like USB a cable but won't work as USB because they have been internally shorted for charging. This type of cable will make a one of these charges work at the correct rate.
@astyanax: Your link took me to the same charger: 2A total output. Did you make a mistake with the linking?
@topochicho hit it. This charges to the USB spec: 500mA at 5V DC. Many smart phones and (I discovered) Kindles want more: up to 1000mA. iPads are greedy one way devices (like Apple) which require 2000mA at 5V. So this may not work for many of your more power hungry devices.
@topochicho: Heh heh... as a friend just pointed out to me... I meant to say if you are willing to crack your charger open, not your device... I would Not recommend cracking open your $600 phone and shorting any of the USB connections.
I should probably proof read these here things before I's posts thems... nahh... too much effort.
I bought 2 recently and won't work with ipad2
