Should be noted, this is manufacturer refurbished, not that that's a horrible thing.

Hmm I just bought one. It said Factory Refurbished. I went on their website and clicked on the item and it says that they are an Authorized Dealer. I also went to Reseller ratings and they do have good ratings. To me it seems this is a trusted dealer and not one of those scams like icemonkey or daily steals. I doubt you will get another chance at this price since best buy sold the 8gb new one for $229+tax=$243. Also last time i checked it said limited quantity available

Bought one of these at same price from same seller in late Oct/early November. No problems to date and tablet was spotless. I own an iPad, two HP touchpads, and the iconia, and the iconia is my favorite of the group. Been watching prices since I bought it and haven't seen anyone else hit this pricepoint.

Refurbished touchpads are supposedly going back on sale for $99 and $149 Sunday on HP's ebay shop.
