I got one of these a couple weeks ago, and for the price you can't go wrong. Easier to take along than binoculars and the image quality is decent. Nice rubberized housing, although there are no dust caps, just the vinyl case. Also has a wrist strap but would be handier with a lanyard.

Don't know the quality, but for $5.01 even if it isn't very good it will be fun to have around. Although it isn't the kind of monocular I was thinking of; I wanted to have one like Col. Klink. That was I could run around with it on yelling "COLONEL HOGAN!!"

I love golf! but I have such a hard time finding my ball! with these monoculars hopefully I wont loose as many balls anymore! I will be able to improve my score! and leave my wife home because I wont need her anymore to go find my ball!

Vivitar is owned by Sakar now, and is nothing compared to what it once was. They own the name, and none of the photographic assets are produced any longer. Don't expect a Series 1.
