Finally got around to redeeming and experienced the same thing others did. I did not like that we had to call a 877 number and wait on hold to redeem a $10 GC. For the amount of time wasted waiting and then refusing the attempted up sell, it wasn't worth it. Next time I will look before I leap. Good to hear others had no issues, but this company is not someone I want to deal with again.

@ceegee58: maybe because this was posted a month ago...just sayin'

vote-for1vote-against

Just tried to get one, and they are all sold out.

OK, I called to redeem my voucher. They did try to upsell me - same discount dining deal that @larrygrimes mentioned. I had to listen to the pitch and decline it three times. I just stayed polite, let the phone rep talk, and said 'no, thanks' each time. I also had to repeat my mailing info several times to get it all correct. I'm supposed to get the card in 7-10 business days. I'll report on that as well.

Yes, it's a bunch of hoops to jump through but, thanks to all of you guys I knew what to expect so it wasn't too annoying. Thanks to you all!

@madcow217: i get that a lot of people had issues, but i ordered several things from them, as well as the $15 itunes gc for $3 (4 in all) and didnt have to jump through any hoops. I ordered online, checked my account the next day, as they said, then got the number to enter into that redeeming website, did that and then got my GCs. I feel bad they did, but using several emails, so they thought I was more than one person, even used my mom's name and info once, I had none of these problems as another poster noted. So yes, be wary, but I dont know what all these undisclosed hoops are because i never had to jump through any. Everytime i called to cancel my elite program, which i had used to get the $3 GCs, they answered and took care of it, no problem. I have seen here other people bash other daily sites in which i also have never had a problem, so I guess you could say it could happen to anyone, anywhere.

@gadgetgirl88: If you've read up on anything about this company, you are obviously one of the lucky few. I didn't get "burned" by this company either. I got a $10 iTunes card for $5. It was their trickery and "undisclosed" steps you needed to do to get your actual card. No matter HOW bad a company is, they obviously have to have at least a FEW success stories!

Please everyone, I am definitely not one to blast on anyone or company, I'm not one of those "hater" internet posters. I sincerely posted about this company as a flag for everyone, to actually help people that are/were lured into this company's unfair & sketchy practices. I really was only trying to help...

vote-for1vote-against

@madcow217: and what to those of us who did get the great deal?

vote-for1vote-against

@madcow217: I get it. You got burned by these folks, and I'm really sorry. It sucks. And I've read the reviews/horror stories. I guess I figure: A. It's only $4, B. I didn't have to sign up for a deal where I have to cancel a paid membership, C. I used a one-time number from my CC company so they won't be able to charge me more than $4, D. I have no intention of ever getting anything else from them, and, finally, E. They'd have to be pretty stupid to burn people on the teaser deal.

So we'll see. As I said -- it's only $4 and if they come through it'll be a nice little stocking stuffer for my daughter. I'll come back and report on how it goes.

To all you folks you think you're getting such a great deal, check these links...other than that, I wish you the best of luck (but sorry, you're an idiot if you wanna take the chance)

And trust me, there are PLENTY of more of things like these. I NEVER post bad stuff, but these guys burned me...plus, you guys should know this by now, if it looks too good to be true, IT IS!

vote-for1vote-against

@leronis: that is how i got all of my GCs, I never had to call anyone so I am not really knowing what the others are talking about.

@omnichad: @gadgetgirl88: Are sure the website works to redeem Saveology vouchers? I ask because the vouchers shown on the website look different from the one I got from Saveology, and my voucher doesn't mention a website at all. So...just trying to verify that redeemthisnow really works for Saveology vouchers...

vote-for0vote-against

Takes a while to get a line that is open to redeem, but it does in fact work.

I bought a $25 Boston Market GC about 2 months ago through Saveology, for $5. While this was a great deal, and I did eventually receive my GC (took about 3-4 weeks in the mail), I cannot recommend Saveology to anyone. When you call to "redeem" you voucher, they will try to get more money from you. Not sure if this is what they do every time, but the guy tried for 25 minutes to get me to spend $5 to get $100 in "money" to use through discountdiningdollars.com, even though he could never fully explain what this was, or how it worked. I kept saying, let me access your site with a guest login, I'll look around, and maybe buy your deal, but of course this is forbidden, because if they allowed that, people would see that the deals are crap, and not worth your money.

Anyway, take a chance, why not? But, just know what to expect when you redeem. You will be pressured and you will have to listen and fight to actually redeem your voucher...

vote-for0vote-against

I recently (within the last month), purchased one of these and I received my iTunes gift card within 7-10 days. Definitely worth it for me....

vote-for1vote-against

@ddfossett: the deal used to be $7.50 for a $15 GC or you could sign up with the elite program and get the $15 for $3. I did this 4 times using different emails and got all my GCs without a problem. I also used the redeemthisnow website. I was never told to call anywhere just click the link to that website to redeem. I know people say don't use it, but I did several times all without issue and no I don't work for them. I just wanted a good deal on iTunes GCs and that's a lot of free music, movies and apps.

vote-for1vote-against

Anyone care to comment on if they really did this and it worked? Or is the comment thread just about what we can get IF we had an itunes gift card or personal opinions about itunes. Doesn't look like anyone really trusts this deal.

vote-for-1vote-against

Why iTunes?....it's the worst fustercluck of a piece of software I've ever used!

vote-for3vote-against

@madcow217: Or, go to reedeemthisnow.com and enter your voucher number - bypass the Saveology operators entirely. This works!

vote-for3vote-against

Ive ordered the itunes gift card from saveology in the past and yes you do have to call in and yes they will ask if you want to sign up for some dining discount package or something along those lines, but i just said,"no thank you" and they never pressed the issue. The gift card arrived in the mail about a week later. I'd say that it was pretty painless and worth going through to get a discounted itunes card.

vote-for13vote-against

BEWARE!!!!!!!!! This is a HORRIBLE company! After you buy, they send you a confirmation #, that you must then CALL THEM with it, and they then try to talk you into buying other things. Plus, many have complained they never even get their order. They just don't send you the card! Please, just do some Google searches, or look them up on BBB in Florida. They I horrible...BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!!!!

vote-for4vote-against

@thedogma: iTunes gift cards not only work on anything in the iTunes store, they also work on anything in the App Store as well, so you can buy MacOS apps as well.

vote-for8vote-against

@thedogma: iTunes gift cards work on anything in the iTunes store, so music, movies, iBooks, apps, etc. They aren't Apple Store gift cards, so you can't get hardware with them. But you can get all the apps you want. I've actually been burning a 100 card I got for 80 bucks on here for the past year.

vote-for3vote-against

I think the answer is yes. I have bought apps with iTunes money. It's all money.

vote-for2vote-against

Do these work with apps or just music? Always wondered, never bothered to figure out.

vote-for31vote-against

Check out the fine print AFTER they get your info and your $4.
