@wootsmittywoot: I have dealt w/this before. You need to (1) Make sure your address in your Meritline account is a physical address (no P.O. Boxes) and is (2) your verified address for PayPal or CC. I live in rural MT and do not get home delivery via USPS. My verified address is my PO Box. For Meritline orders, I had to change my address to my actual street address so their system would accept it. When they ship to me, the USPS local PO simply holds my package for me to pick up. Bizarre, I know, but whatever. At least now I get my stuff and no longer have Commodog yelling at me for mistakenly posting that the deal isn't working.
Lemme know if this works for you. -Z
Worked for me!
1.) Apply the coupon code in the cart before you select "check out"
2.) Select ground shipping $0.00 on the following screen to dumb the cost down to .79 cents
3.) Agree to terms and check out!
Absolutely works. Just ordered 4 packs. Had to do it separately each time, but each time got the coupon discount and just clicked ground shipping to get the free shipping.
@blehmann: Yes, because an occasional email from a company you do business with is so horrible. Much worse than the hundreds of emails from companies you've never heard of selling fake Viagra.
To get this you have to set up a Merritline account. I set up a credit card on file, and selected free shipping. Total $.79. Way to go!
Got these last year or so when they were here. Worst picks ever.
Sweet! Worked for me, and now I have a little add on gift for my father...I'm thinking of using another e-mail to get another set for a housemate..Great deal for sure!
@blehmann: I've been subscribed to Meritline for a while, no more than one e-mail a day, with some great deals, and you could alway unsubscribe!
For those having problem with the discount codes, maybe a space was added before the code when you copied and pasted the code.
Works great. just make sure you change the shipping option mine automatically checked the 2 days shipping option. Thanks Bro in law will like these.
It worked fine for me...
I just got mine for $0.79 + the free shipping!
I got 2- just use different email addresses. Should keep hubby pick happy for a while.
Worked for me! 0.79$ grand total
Worked for me. Awesome! Can't wait to add these to my husband's stocking!
still works!!! Now I have a real reason to lose my picks! Dirt cheap!!!
@normamc: Did you see the coupon code, and that you have to log in to use it? I just ordered a set and it worked fine for me.
In for one. Worked great for me.
Great deal, getting my son a guitar for Christmas just what I need for his stocking!
Q: it says "free ground shipping" but then only lets me choose USPS shipping for $9.45?
This deal worked great for me Thanks
@zippy the pinhead: woot woot! lol
quick math:
woot makes 5% (its 3-5% but we'll go with 5 for wow factor) of each sale completed through this deal via shareadeal affiliate network.
1670 people clicked on this deal at time of posting this.
lets say 1200 bought it (meritline coupons are labeled "only 400 available" to make you think you need to make a quick decision before it runs out...but in reality, they let it go till stock runs out sometimes)
so 1200 x $.79 = $948
5% of $948 = $47.40 <---woots cut
not bad for them.
I'll get a $5 off a woot purchase coupon maybe for posting it....hmmm
Coupon Code is used up. I was too late. boo.
I knew this'd be dead when I saw the votes, but I figured I'd try anyways lol..
Just saw comments, dead six hours.. I was THAT close
I tried to get this deal, but it says it's $5.99. What's up? Did they run out already?
Doh! After I checked out I saw this text: "By using a Meritline.com newsletter exclusive coupon code you consent to receive additional deals and promotions through our free e-mail newsletter. Thank You." So it looks like we will all be getting spammed, even though we unchecked the "would-you-like-to-get-spammed" checkbox.
