1,000 FPS isn't exactly a plinking rifle. This sucker could probably punch through fence boards. If you don't plan on killing anything then this gun isn't right for you.

@knarf009: Thanks for your comment. From surveys we've taken, the large majority of airgunners do two things with airguns: plink and hunt. If you read our customer reviews for guns shooting over 800 fps, most talk about punching paper targets, rolling tin cans, busting bottle caps and shooting spinners. Basically, plinking. While we acknowledge that you can shoot through a fence board with this, you can do the same with a much less powerful gun. However, we don't advocate shooting at fence boards! We expect airgunners to shoot responsibly, which includes suitable targets that have sufficient backstops to prevent penetration. Furthermore, the direction in which you shoot is supposed to be one where no person, animal or property will be harmed should the shot miss its intended target.
