I own a pair of these and they are awesome. Better than beats and for $32 free shipping I might by another set.

Just FYI - I bought a pair of these a few months back @ BestBuy and returned them because all of my coworkers could hear the music that was coming from them. If you are looking to use them in an office environment they have horrible noise leak. To avoid bothering others you have to turn the volume down pretty low :\

I will say that the sound quality coming from them was very good and impressive.

How do these compare to the Turtle Beach Ear Force DX11 on sellout.woot? I'm really conflicted at the moment.

@dutchpirate: I have the 700's and they are pretty awesome! I use them in an office enviroment to block server noise and they work really well (when music is playing). The base is nice especially for videos/auidobooks becasue the voices sound real and not so tin-like. Had for almost a year and no complaints. I also recommend (if you have the cash) the Bose On-Ear Headphones and except for the sh1tty fake leather they were great.

One of the few sony products that I have wanted to throw across the room.

@demongalarza: Wait, so the 700's are a Sony product? Or is that from Turtle Beach? Are you saying you love the 700's so much that you want to throw them across the room.

@dutchpirate: I'm assuming he's talking about the more expensive XB700's, I don't think Turtle Beach has a "700" model.

but the part about throwing them across the room...

...I don't even...

I have the XB-700's. They sound great, but have terrible sound insulation.

Don't buy them if you intend to use them in a quiet environment. I would see them more as a replacement to a speaker system, as in, if it's a place where you wouldn't use a set of speakers, you shouldn't use these.

@dutchpirate: Sorry comment fail there. I meant that I don't want to throw it across the room.

@crada0066: I'm in a very quiet office with no cubicle walls and not one person have said anything about hearing what I'm listening to. Weird that you are having that issue. I listen to very bass-y music with pretty high highs. As for insulation, they keep my ear pretty warm especially since the room is kept around 50 degrees fahrenheit constantly.
