Walking Dead is still totally worth it. I just grabbed FTL Stupid Steam Sales always get me.

Just Cause 2 - $2.99 is probably the best deal here.

Do you mean how they posted initially at one price and changed to better prices after a minute or so? That I have never seen happen. I think those were the prices they were on sale for for just normal summer sale and then changed to daily deal prices. More games than those involved in the daily, flash and community are on sale. Just at not as much of a percentage.

@wootfast: Totally agree. You'll get more enjoyment for your $3 than you can handle.

weird price fluxs happened to me last night when i went to buy Dont Starve yesterday, its price point moved around a few times. check back here with any questions about differences

@underoath25624: Pretty much, yeah. I made the original post and someone mentioned the differences in prices. I looked back and everything was different.

Methinks they updated the main page, then the prices.

And yes, I see that other games, other than the daily, flash & community, are on sale as well. I finally picked up Blood Dragon for $6.74. :]

@justagigilo Blood Dragon is Stupid Fun. I love that game.

@gideonfrost: Agree that Walking Dead is awesome. I paid full price and am still happy with it.

BTW, there's also new DLC : Walking Dead 400 days.

Centered on a truck stop on a Georgia highway, this DLC episode for Season 1 of The Walking Dead by Telltale Games tells five linked stories of survival in the wake of the zombie apocalypse. From day 1 of the undead plague to 400 days later, The Walking Dead: 400 Days offers more of the horror and human drama of Robert Kirkman and Telltale’s award-winning series. Echoes of the choices you made in Season 1 will carry over into '400 Days' and the choices you make in '400 Days' will resonate into Season 2.

Its worth noting that there are several games not on the main features page that are nonetheless on sale. A good example is "The Last Remnant" which is on sale for 3.39 right now. Totally worth that price. You can easily spend 100+ hours in the game hunting rare components, leveling up, building weapons etc. Just a heads up for those who may only be sticking to the main 15 listed on the front page.

@riflescrossed: Very true, but the general thought of those framiliar with the sale is not to buy anything that's not a daily deal, community choice or flash deal, unless it is the last day. Everything will be on sale until it's over, and many games that are just 'on sale' right now will be available for less later on.

Walking Dead and Just Cause 2 are fantastic games, buy them! However the 400 days DLC for Walking Dead is meh. Not terrible, just not nearly good as the main game.

vote-for1vote-against

Are any of these good strat/puzzle/RTS games? Not so interested in FPS.

@ediron2: Walking Dead is pretty unique. It is a story/role playing game. You play the character Lee where you interact with people and decide how you are going to react. There isn't much action at all, just a great story.

Just Cause 2 is a 3rd person perspective shooter game. It really has a lot more elements to than just the shooting though. You can do some insane things in it like skyjack helicopters.
