Promo code appears to work when entered, but during checkout the promo amount is removed, with a message stating there is a problem with the promo code. Did not work with visa or paypal.

I had the same experience and I got the promo code from Newegg. It seems to be Newegg's mistake, not the original poster.

Worked for me thru paypal, seems newegg fixed your problem. Great Deal.

I tried it once and it didnt work... tried it a second time and it worked perfectly! awesome deal, thanks!

Sure it's a deal and comes with a free 8GB jumpdrive, but a lot of reviews have been poor about this. Many reliability issues of actually restoring imaged data. Be wary.

I (OP) have used Acronis for years and it's saved my butt more times than I can count (I can't count very high). I usually use the boot disc to restore -- it seems to be more reliable than going through the OS -- but I image via the OS without any issues.

The 2010 version just saved me a few weeks ago when I upgraded to Windows 8. Back in a working windows 7 in just 22 minutes. Whew!

I fell for it because of so much publicity, but when it comes to imaging your entire disk, it has completely proven itself worthless. I paid full price online ($60 bucks) and promptly returned it. I might consider it for $20 for regular backups, but for full OS I will stick with Windows Backup & Restore.

Less bulky(and pricey) than Ghost, not as lean as SelfImage.

I've relied on both Windows Backup and Restore and Acronis in different situations. Imaging can always get a little spotty, but for file backup, I prefer Acronis.

Windows Backup and Restore has failed me in the past week with some file issues, but Acronis hasn't... and I was running an old version from 2009. I'll be buying this, it's a sweet deal.

@gmartell: They did fix the links. Note: you're also getting a free 8g uSB plus free shipping. This is a very good buy.

Good deal, thanks! I did have to try it several times, before the discount code worked for me. But, it finally took. $20.00 for Acronis and a free USB, free shipping.

The ordering process is confusing but eventually I got the discount.
