If you don't have World of Goo yet, I would highly recommend it.

Yes! I've been waiting for FIFA 12 to go on sale for Android. Was able to snag it when iTunes had it on sale for iPad but have been dying to have it on my Galaxy II.

@luvche21: I have it for PC, but picked it up for my tablet here too. Great game to play on the road.

The apps in today's sale are really good! I snagged sketchbook mobile, paper camera cut the rope, and dungeon Village for less than the cost of just one of those apps!

The images being used to promote the sale on the Play store include the "Where's My Perry?" app icon. A preview of tomorrow, perhaps?

World of Goo is fantastic. The cheap kids books are hard to beat for us parents as well.

FYI, Amazon is price matching most of these for today and yesterday.

Good for those who have Kindle Fire etc...

iPhone gets free Tiger and we get FIFA? Boo!!! (FIFA's still a good game though)

vote-for1vote-against

How many days is this sale going on? I hope we get more apps tomorrow. I love google.

vote-for1vote-against

@rockytrh: That's exactly where I was at. The PC version rocked, but I think I'm going to like the touch version better. We'll see.

Kairosoft's Dungeon Village is included in the sale, if you're a fan of the Game Dev Story type games (and a lot of people are)

vote-for1vote-against

In for the new Cut the Rope, and World of Goo, too.
Thanks.

Google's 2nd set of $.25 apps are up?really?

vote-for1vote-against

lol, running out of harddrive space on my phone with all these cheap games/apps. But it's nice to have some great selections (actually paid regular price for a lot of these) since I usually check the free "popular" app a day on amazon and that selection is often pure junk lately. Started strong but not even worth checking most days now.

The Going to Bed Book by Sandra Boynton should be worth .25 when we're on vacation and need one of the favorites :)

I'm a fan of Kairosoft's games, I just wish they all at some point went to 25 cents so I didn't have to pay $5 everytime they repackage a game with a slightly different theme, lol. Dungeon village was cool, and a +1 for world of goo.

I got a bunch of these yesterday, and I bought a couple today, but Google Wallet started declining both of my cards. Anyone else having problems?

vote-for2vote-against

@portezbie: I got an email today saying that the sale lasts through Sunday. Five days of apps!

Google's second set of $.25 apps IS up.
("Set" is the subject; "apps" is the object of the preposition "of". You're welcome.)

vote-for1vote-against

@schultr8: i had the same problem yesterday...my card company started declining them due to fraud alerts...after i verified the charges, everything was ok.

So, I bought three of these apps yesterday. Then last night, I happened to be checking my credit card statement, and noticed that I had 3 pending transactions for $1.25 each from Google checkout, and none for $0.25. Anyone else notice this?

vote-for1vote-against

@dmdavis Just saw the same thing. I purchased one app and my card receive two charges. One charge for $0.25 and another for $1.00.

vote-for2vote-against

@dmdavis

Apparently this is normal, it's a pending authorization from google. See below (from http://support.google.com/googleplay/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=105940)

You may also notice a $1.00 transaction from Google, which is actually a pending authorization request between our billing system and the bank that issued your credit or debit card, so you won't end up paying the extra $1.00.

When you check your bank account or credit card statement, payment authorizations are often listed as pending. These transactions might remain in your account between 1-14 business days, depending on your card-issuing bank. Please keep in mind they are authorization requests only, not actual charges.
