glad you saw the 16gb version. i ordered a couple of those as well as a couple of 8gb.

Wow! I get to pick mine up starting the 28th of Oct. Good thing it was a stocking stuffer.

Just got 8 of the 8GB and 2 of the 16GB at my local Walmart for a total of $47.88 including tax. can pick 'em up this afternoon. Less than $0.50 a GB!

I got one of these 16gb from Wal-Mart for $16 this summer. Great drive. In that, I mean it doesn't lose my data and saves my data very efficiently; not sure what else I could ask from a flash drive...

Even worse than just the sale ending, they actively disregarded my order. I ordered, paid, and was awaiting confirmation that it was ready to be picked up at a local store. I just received a notice that the item is "unavailable". After returning to the site, I noticed the price had jumped up to $29.88 and that they DO have product in stock. So, they obviously corrected the "error", and cancelled any unfulfilled orders. Stay classy, Walmart.

I just picked up 5 8gb and one 16gb for the prices that were advertised earlier. sweet deal!

@nyy4life: Calm down killer! They honored the price from the internet for me when I went in earlier. I purchased 4 (8gb) online, and wanted more. They rang up as $14.88, and the lady gave it to me for the price I was quoted for the other 4 I purchased. /xanax

@claudicina: They may have honored the price for you because you went to the store for pickup. I placed my order to have it shipped home and they canceled my order and that was that. They did not honor the price they advertised. I ordered two of these (16gb). This is not the first time Walmart has done something like this. If they put something on their site, they need to honor that price for the people who placed their orders at that price. Not cancel their orders and leave people hanging because they made a mistake. My order was paid for and I received email confirmation of the order. I received the cancellation a few hours later. If an item is labeled with a price and you order the item at that price, your order should be fulfilled. End of story.

Update to my situation [and to be fair]: Based on claudicina's recommendation, I took a print=off of my original order email and the cancellation notice to another local Walmart (the one I ordered at REALLY was out of stock). Ultimately, they listened to my plea and allowed me to purchase the two thumb drives that were originally cancelled. After much research, I can only assume that the original order was canceled because of lack of inventory, but they really should give the option to pickup from another location before outright canceling the order.

Just a heads up to anyone who bought this with site-to-store and had them cancel the order: Threaten to open an investigation with the Better Business Bureau. They WILL honor the price they listed. My brother used to work for Wal-mart's online customer service department. They care so much about their BBB rating that they will do just about anything to prevent people from going there. Hope this helps some people.
