Polarized sunglasses are a necessity because they remove glare that aren't eliminated by standard sunglasses. In my pairs of (prescription) sunglasses I have gotten polarized treatment whenever possible. To put this treatment on by an optician costs a significant amount of money. If you don't need prescription sunglasses, I always suggest getting polarized sunglasses. The factory values make it affordable. It reduces stress and preserves the skin because you don't have to strain as much. Plus it makes colors pop!
