I tried this one last time it was offered and the "deal police" removed it. No clue why. Hopefully it will be allowed to remain this time.

Limit 3 per person. In Store Pick-up ONLY.

Not the latest and greatest, for the price, you can't beat it!

@djp519: I agree, I have my Fire and it has shown it's age but for $70 it's a solid buy.

I got this last time. Works and looks great, and comes with a really fast wall charger unlike most new ones.

does anyone know if this will run DSLRremote for my Canon 5DmkII?

In for one. Hard to pass up at that price.

Just bought one to give to the office Administrative Assistant for Secretary's Day... April 24th. Will ROM it up and everything for her.

Got one of these the last time for the wife. She just wanted something to watch Netflix on in the kitchen, and it is perfect. Install the 1mobile market and you get even more free Android apps. Put MX Player on it, and downloaded avi files play great. (With software debugging enabled.)

I got one of these last time mostly to use the lending library. Looks like new and works excellent. Good deal for the price.

cant seem to find any in stock near me

@venzam: @miggo: I'm not sure the stores currently have any of these in stock. They will be shipped where needed after the sale ends and you will be notified about pickup by email.

@simonjester: I clicked on this link to either comment that myself or verify that at least somebody else was thinking the same thing I was!
Surprised I had to read through as many comments as I did to get to it!

Wish I could post this earlier:
Ok, so you can find the Nook 16 GB, dual core for $100 no tax or shipping on ebay, factory recertifed with a 1 year warranty. (Oh, and the 16gb vs is much faster than the older 8gb ver.)
It does have a micro sd slot, but no hdmi output....Perhaps there's a micro usb to hdmi adapter that will work for it??? If so, must be using android.
Oh, and can dual boot to android using a micro sd card....Very easy to do!!!.
(I don't know about the nook hd or hd plus. As they are in another price league)

For $150, you can periodically find an 8gb Nexus 7, factory refurbished.
The nexus 7 however, has no sd expandability, so you must use an inexpensive adapter to connect to usb devices, such as storage and keyboards.
It also has no HDMI output.
It is faster than the nook.
The kindle fire hd: Pricier than a ref nexus 7.
Has hdmi, no expandability though.

Are there any 7" tablets under $160, that I can get recertified, that have both hdmi, and expandability?
