8 Madagascar Vanilla Beans for $5.95 + shipping
coupon code: Woot
Hey, don’t tell Kelly’s mom, but I totally spiked the punch with Madagascar Vanilla Beans!
Woot code also works to take 30% any other quantity.
Alternatively, use "ThankYou30" and it gets 30% off anything (not just 5 packs of Vanilla Beans)
This is a good deal for vanilla beans.
the best vanilla beans out there are these. we use then where I work. yummy.
They resemble Bully Sticks. But look good anyway!
last time I bought some 25 bucks for 10 so this is a good deal even with shipping
The Woot code had the same effect as ThankYou30: Woot took 30% off the cart, not just the vanilla beans.
Further, you get to pick a free sample of another product with your order, and the list was huge. I was going to order some whole nutmeg to try this company and then discovered that I could get 1oz whole nutmeg for free!
fantastic deal!
Madagascar beans are coveted as some of the best in the world. Certainly the most sought after - this is a great price of 9.95 after it's all said and done.
Why do you offer 8 beans for $5.95 plus shipping, and then when I go to order, you state $8.50 plus shipping, Bate and Switch ? I wanted to order, but no way when you pull that kind of stuff...
Got the beans, a free 16oz bag of cinnamon, AND a free 1oz sample of the spice of my choice (mulling spices). NICE.
The spice prices are decent, but the nut prices are just nuts. $10 for 16oz, no thanks.
@johnlana: when you go to the shopping cart you type in the woot code and they apply the deal.
If you buy 28 grams of saffron, using the woot coupon you could get it at $4.29 per gram, throw in a free sample of the cardamom you could have yourself a nice little side business.
Package the Saffron up in nice little 1 gram bags, even selling it at a fair price of $10.00 a gram you could make yourself a nice little profit...assuming you have a market for it of course.
I was able to get 8 vanilla beans, smoked paprika, and a free ounce of maharaja curry powder for under $14! What a great find!
Regular prices are rather high, but with the 30% discount it makes it well worth it! Used this deal to pick up some saffron and other odds and ends.
Glad I saw this deal. Got the vanilla beans and some other spices that we have either had a hard time finding or just didn't want to pay an arm and a leg for. Look forward to trying all this stuff.
@klvino: "You're gonna love my nuts."
Why would anyone want these?
How long does this "keep"?
@stevec5000 ~ lots of uses for Vanilla beans: http://tinyurl.com/yzsn8ok
I too picked up the 8 vanilla beans, some smoked paprika, & a sample of the applewood smoked salt for under $14 (with the woot code). Nice find!
According to this website: http://homecooking.about.com/cs/foodfactsheets/p/vanilla_pro.htm
"Beans should be kept in a tightly-closed container in a refrigerated area where they should last up to six months."
@ecunning: How did you get the free bag of cinnamon? I can't find it for free on the website.
I just got in on this deal at 4:45 AM on Jan 1 - the woot coupon (as well as ThankYou30) is still working.
I've been wanting to try grains of paradise since hearing Alton Brown talk about them.... Now I have a free 1 ounce sample coming.
I got my shipment in last week. I'm impressed with the quality of the spices I've used so far (Hungarian and smoked paprika, cumin).
I've never bought spices online before, but even their regular prices seem good compared to local B&M stores.
Anyone else have any feedback?
