@skotyman: Here is the user manual that shows you how to connect the wired speakers. I was looking for the same thing and could't find it.

Man, I remember buying a performa from macmall- the big draw was it came with a free color printer. Then they shipped me a black and white one instead. That was disappointing :(

Searching around, all evidence says one speaker. Intended as surround sound speakers.

I can't prove this is the same speaker, but I learned something about crutchfield, when nobody else well tell, they have real information about a product.
