Stay Away from tanga.com!
I ordered 3 of these headphone beanies in mid-October, when they were last offered here.
After countless emails to tanga.com, and several phone calls, and so many promises and (fibs) by tanga.com 'customer service reps' --,After nearly a month and a half of waiting-- I FINALLY received an order of beanies, though NOT THE COLOR I ORDERED, AND NOT THE QUANTITY I ORDERED (!!)
EVERYTIME I see an offer on Woot with tanga.com as the seller as the seller, I still am shocked at the lack of professional business interaction, the lack of personal courtesy and total lack of stock knowledge this "business" does not possess.
I've documented my experience with tanga.com. You can read my comments under my profile...

Thanks for the heads up! I had a similar experience with 1sale and have now learned to research any vendor I am tempted to buy from on deals.woot. The warning is much appreciated, even if I did want some of these beanies!! I'll have to find them somewhere else.

You're welcome, rhoffpauir. I was looking forward to these headphone beanies for Christmas gifts, but the entire experience with tanga.com negatively affected my holiday online shopping :-(
I've never- (and I managed a retail business for 20 years), been told so many deliberate untruths and uninformed "guesses" about a product! I definitely have concerns about such a careless "business" having access to my bank card information.

I have to agree.... Tanga is, hands down, the worst site I've ever dealt with. Always check quantities if you purchase more than one item. They will, almost always, short you. And getting them to contact you over it is nigh to impossible. Woot has gotten much, much better with their customer service. I have no complaints.... except for the excessive shipping costs. :/ I don't do the woot-offs anymore because if i want a few small things, once you rack up those shipping fees, I've actually calculated that I would have done better off buying elsewhere. Otherwise, Woot would be the best site on the internet for most of my shopping which I do way too much of, heheh, so i suppose I should be grateful? I do miss the woot-off thrill, though!

@ashlandsen,
my three gray headphone beanies "were in stock", I received a confirmation (auto-confirmation), within minutes of my order with tanga.com. Most importantly, my bank account was also debited within minutes of my purchase.
ONLY, after not hearing anything further (like a shipped order email), did I begin emailing tanga.com, MYSELF.
After a leisurely three days, they finally sent me a "customer alert" email (also automated), telling me my order had problems and was therefore cancelled.
Another wait on my part, waiting for A REFUND TO MY BANKCARD.
Only then did I receive a phone call from "tangatori".
tanga.com needs to go to customer service school. and ethical business practices school. and warehouse management school....and....

Yes be careful with this site,very slow shipping and they frequently don't respond to their emails for days. They also want up to 10 working days to ship your order, that is really dismal.
Compare that to their claim on the site.
"If you ever have problems with your order, we'll do everything we can to make it right.
As a small company (15 of us total), we aim to treat you like family. We know we’re in business because of you."
Looks like they have one person who does CS part time ...Tanga Brad.

I see, and read, that I am not the only one who has had issues with tanga.com. I placed an order with them, through WOOT, and waited two months for my shipment. I ordered two small flashlights. When my order finally did come, lo and behold, it was a gaming mouse!!!
I contacted them and they requested a picture of what I received. I guess my word was not good enough! Now who would even bother to make up a "gaming mouse instead of flashlight" story.
I sent a picture and then they followed up requesting some additional information on the enclosed invoice. At that point, i decided it was not worth my time and simply moved on.
My suggestion, if you see tanga.com, be wary.

It's good to have the Woot community and to be able to warn unsuspecting, potential customers away from dubious sites like 'tanga.com'. If I had been able to read comments like those generated by my experience with them, I would have been warned of their heinous track of disrespect for their customers.

@aesir99,
I'm so sorry to hear yours (and everyone who has responded to this)- tanga.com experience(s)...I'm a relatively newish Wooter so I don't know whether after so many tanga-horror-stories there's something that can be done to keep them from preying here...if anyone else reading this knows, please post!
