I've bought a number of pairs of glasses from here for both myself and my wife. Turnaround time can be a little long, but they are so cheap it is fun to have a couple different styles on hand. The only tough part is that my prescription didn't have the Pupil Distance (PD), you can measure it yourself with a ruler and a mirror, but you should have a friend do it if you have one handy :)

I'd also recommend http://www.zennioptical.com/

We took a chance on ordering online when our son was about 1yr old and had an awful habit of grabbing the glasses of whoever was holding him and chucking them over his shoulder :)
We haven't paid retail for glasses since,

Coupon seems to be automatically applied via the link here. Coupon code is not recognized during the checkout process, but it's clear you're looking at Woot discount prices when using the link. Got two pairs, one with tint, one without for ~$30 after shipping. (I have a low distance prescription; -.75 and -.50)

The coupon code didn't work for me, and it wasn't automatically applied. I talked to someone through live chat who eventually had me place the order and put in a refund for the difference. Took a while, but the 24/7 customer service is great.

I bought my first pair from them at a sale just after Thanksgiving using a Woot free frame coupon and they had a free lens deal on their site. So I opted to upgrade the lens for $5 and with shipping at $5 it only cost me $10 total. As this was my first time ever buying glasses online I was skeptical, but other than a little longer delivery time I have had no complaints. I even in January bought another pair of the same glasses, but with sun glass tinting. Unless you are in a hurry and need your glasses today, I would recommend buying from them. I know I'll be buying my glasses online from now on.

IN! My driver's license is restricted to glasses so I need a permanent pair for the car one with tint and one without, perfect deal for me thanks!

14.95 (with shipping) for two pairs glasses. Just amazing. I probably buy 3 pairs a year from these guys and I really need 'em. I have a bad habit of wearing my glasses while swimming, and every now and then I lose them to the bottom of a lake or in the ocean. Also I step on them. Maybe they're not as durable as the $100+++ overinflated ones from the optometrist or (god help you) lenscrafters, butthe price is unbeatable!

The landing page shows glasses for all kinds of price points. I was not able to hit the advertised $10 mark (unless they are counting it as two pairs of FRAMES for $10 plus $4 for lenses, then...cool!) The offer doesn't include any frames over $4.95, though there are plenty at that price to choose. In for 2!

So how do we tell which are "non designer"? I guess I can assume that it's the up to $9.99 price point? There are like 10,000 frames here.

Says the codes not valid for me... too much work for that crap.

What a (profanity) website.

Of the 10,000 glasses, these are the only ones I like-

http://goggles4u.com/easyclip-eyeglasses-3092.html

And, they are probably considered "designer"

**You have to copy/paste the link because of their crappy website.

(profanity) site.
tried to order a pair of cheap cheap cheap glasses and kept getting the error "cannot add item to cart"
screw this.

The non-designer frames can be selected by going to brand and selecting googles4u. I have bought from these folks before and they take the slow boat from Thailand and are good to fair quality. Out of the 4 glasses I have bought my 2 sunglasses were great, 1 pair of regular glasses was a little off on the PD and 1 was much uglier than the picture. I actually like several designs from them but then they screw them up by only making them in awful colors.

Ok. The link takes us to a page that clearly indicates that it is a Deals Woot page. The banner describing the coupon code says pick any "non designer" frames and add basic uncoated lenses to get the two for $10 deal. Which are "nondesigner" and why is the page filled with designer frames if this page is for the Woot deal? The deal here says that you get an antiscratch coating on the lenses. I tried to check out with the first pair for $29.99. The lenses were $22.00 more and the coupon code had no effect. Apparently this thread isn't being monitored because people are confused here and there has been no response from the OP. Can we get some some clarification? I'd like to order some glasses without spending all night on trial and error

@chezteladog: Dude, go to http://www.coastal.com/ and use the coupon code FREEDEAL

It give you first pair of glasses free + 10% off upgrades

Coastal return policy is the best around.

They are the Amazon of glasses.

vote-for4vote-against

@iggz: I agree Coastal is far superior but you will pay up to $20 on shipping and handling for the free pair. It is well worth it though in my opinion.

vote-for1vote-against

Use the code "dealswoot10" not DealsWoot10 !

vote-for2vote-against

@iggz: the FREEDEAL coupon code has EXPIRED @ coastal.com

@scruffyhansolo: Right. The landing page for this Woot deal was misleading. It included many many frames that were not part of the deal. It took trial and error to figure out. Am I happy to have figured it out? Sure! But what a mind(profanity) of a "deal". And, you are correct: most of the frames are hideous. Elton John wouldn't want to wear them. OI!

I love this place.
I've had some silly mixups in the past, and that would be a SMALL dent in how many times I've ordered from this wonderful company.
They fixed the problem EACH TIME. Shipping takes a while because they have SO many orders at once, they have to make your glasses and sort them with care. It takes about 2 weeks and if you remember the old days when you went to an eyeglass shop at the mall? They sent them away and it would take 2-3 weeks. It would also cost you HUNDREDS of dollars. I just got 2 pair of Prescription Glasses for 15 dollars shipped. That's amazing. I will never shop anywhere else besides goggles4u.com No. I don't work there. I'm living off of disability and it's nice to have several pairs of glasses to change up or to have as backups.
I love this place.

@mrchowwow: You really need to try it again. There is no $10 pair of glasses for this code:
coupon code: DealsWoot10
You pick 2 of the 4.95 pairs, add the 2.00 lense types and use that code on the checkout page.
I've been shopping here for over 2 years. I used to go to Zenni, but they got pricier and less frames to choose from on the cheap side. There's TONS of styles to choose from.
