Just wanted to point out this is awesome! I still have mine, but if I didn't I would get one!

this is SOOO not a deal..my grandma has one of these...

@rogetray: This is SOOOO a deal. Your grandmother paid $200 for this...and she wears army boots.

She also carries a M-14. She's one scary grandma.

vote-for0vote-against

My grandma is a M-14 carrying and SNES playing old lady? That sounds about right...

vote-for1vote-against

@rogetray: who the crap cares if your grandma has one, EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE ONE.

This is a pretty good deal and I would like to purchase it.

I got my SNES at a used game store for around $30 a few years ago. If it came with a couple of games then might be worth the price.

If I actually played video games, I'd definitely get some that was able to play Rock Band or Guitar Hero (wait, does Guitar Hero have drums? I like the ones with drums.)

Hmm, does this include any games? I picked up one of these locally with all cables and two controllers for $25. Local being Columbus Ohio. If this came with some assortment of games, I'd be very interested as they are becoming increasingly more rare :-p

Are you kidding me? It's cheaper on ebay. Heck, get the Chinese copy (looking for linky)

Better yet, get a SNES emulator :)

vote-for0vote-against

I already have one, otherwise I'd be in for one.

I just gave one of these away to a cousin. I included the main unit, 2 controllers (one still in the original wrapping), the 'arcade' controller and a bunch of games.

Actually, this is a nice deal at what I think is a good price. This system is very 'retro' and very much in demand right now due to the popularity of these players and most important, the popular GAMES. There are even 2nd parties manufacturing these systems (retro duo) due to the high interest. If this is in good shape as stated, it is a steal.

Yikes. And they want 70 bucks for an original NES. If they are going to charge that much I would want a longer warranty. 6 months to a year.

vote-for0vote-against

@specvic: Who are "they"?
What has the original NES have to do with this thread?
Year warranty...why?
Where did $70 come from?

vote-for0vote-against

Meh. I mean, I like the old games and all, but I'm having a hard time justifying paying $60 for yet another box to sit gathering dust in front of my television when I can download a fully functional NES emulator for my computer for free. I'd rather spend that $60 on a MODERN game. Or given the way the economy is going, on rent.
