Hopefully they sell all the skinny jeans and that style goes down in a firey failure. Looks good on women, men need to stop wearing them.

I absolutely love Hot Topic's 50% clearance sale, they do this about once a month or more. Last time i bought stuff i got maybe 4 or 5 hoodies at around 10 dollars for each. It's not dinky couldn't-get-enough-sales clothing either, I think anyone can find something neat.

The music tee selection is mostly bands that are no longer even marginally popular or really obscure (or just suck)
The novelty tees are really well picked over, the ones they have now have been there for the last 5 sales

Still, if you can find something you like it will probably be very cheap relatively

If they had 100% off I still wouldn't buy anything. They had a belt I wanted and it was the worst experience having to walk into the store.

I am an old lady (50 years old here) who has no reason to shop at Hot Topic yet I love their stuff. What does that say about me or them?

vote-for2vote-against

@pegun: Surely some girls like how they look on guys, right?

vote-for3vote-against

@seans33: I have yet to meet one. I have to agree with pegun, skinny jeans need to die.

On another note, when I was in high school hot topic was more rebellous and edgy; I was one of the few kids who shopped there in my community. Now, every twihard/emo/dork that thinks the incessant wailing he/she calls music is "dark" and "hard" shops there. If you want to be an individual and go against the grain don't shop at hot topic. Make your own style and be happy with it. These guys may have used to be about individuality, but now they are just the ambercrombie & fitch of a different subgroup.

Oh, sweet! Now I can be a poser for even less!

vote-for4vote-against

@shadowknight125: No. It was never edgy. It was always for posers, and you were one of them.

vote-for1vote-against

@svengoolie: LOL, I always love when people call others "posers"...its pretty revealing. Whatever, i don't really care what you think about me and, frankly, if you took the time to insult me over my opinion about a store you obviously have some other issues to contend with. Have a wonderful evening :)

I'm someone who usually browses these and does notice repeat from sale to sale, but I see a fair amount of new stuff this time. Among other things, shirts for the movies that defined their years: Wrath of Khan and Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus.
