It's a good price, but you won't get the HK factory 1 year warranty, so if it dies tomorrow you're probably out of luck. Plus, this only does Component to HDMI (Red, Green, Blue) conversion, so if you have composite (yellow) or S-video you're SOL... In that price range get one of these:

I have this amp and it does a wonderful job. Does a great job of switching my HDMI inputs.

@idrivea911: You are correct that this does not come with a one year warranty but you are not out of luck if it fails "tomorrow" since all of our items come with a 30 day guarantee.

electronics-expo has it for about the same price (if you do the "email me for a better price" thing). It was around $318 with free shipping when I did it. Full manufacturer's warranty.

I love my HK home theater... Granted this is the low end for HK, still the same quality as their high end stuff.
