I came here to share this, but you were well ahead of me. I'd actually put a refurb for $75 (w/free shipping) in my cart from the Roku website, but was just waiting to see this show up. $10 cheaper (w/the shipping) than direct from Roku

Extremely good deal, what I paid for a Roku XS from Craigslist lol. These devices are simply awesome.

In for one! Been wanting one for HBO go since it doesn't look like ps3 will be getting it...

been on the look out for a deal like this..in for one

In for my second one. I got this from Roku for $79 last year on special and love it. 1SaleaDay haters will be posting soon. There are some valid complaints about their slow shipping which can be anywhere from 1 to 3 weeks. Having said that, I've purchased many an item from them, and while it may be slow in coming, the product will eventually get to you. I just received my 40" $299 Westinghouse LED TV from them Monday (almost 3 weeks after ordering) and it was in perfect working condition. The Roku will be connecting to that along with my Logitch Revue.

How are these for NFL and Nascar? These are the only 2 reasons my husband has been against getting one...

Don't know about NASCAR but you can't get ANY NFL broadcasts. You can buy packages for MLB, NBA, NHL, MLS but the NFL remains out of reach so far.. Rumor is that when current contract with ESPN, FOX, DISH, etc.. Expire they may get an NFL channel on roku, but that's only rumor. That being said I LOVE my roku.

Thank you for the info. I guess I'll have to hold out then. I'm really hating our monthly cable bill. If it were up to me, this would've been in my house months ago :(

Been waiting a while for a decent deal on these!

Why does the cart say Roku HD?

@skoper: The item model number is the 2 XS. This is from my e-mail reciept:

Roku HD Streaming Video Player
Model Number: 2 XS

Just snagged one--been wanting this model for quite awhile--so glad I waited! Christmas came early!

@bblanchard Keep in mind that the HBOGo app on the Roku does not support HBO from a DirectTV account. I found out to my dismay after I bought one for this purpose.

I have a 2 XD, one step down from this one, and love it.

I use it primarily to access my movies, pictures, and music on my NAS. I have my movie collection ripped to .mkv files and this unit plays them flawlessly. I would really like an optical audio output on this thing, but that's a minor issue for me.

Could someone please tell me if these would work well with a 1-3mps DSL line? That is the fastest I can get from the only ISP available to me. I bought a Boxee and it is really hit or miss considering the speed constraints I have. Thank you.

PS. I agree that onesaleaday can be maddening with their long delivery times. However, I have received several items quickly, and every item I have purchased through their site has worked well with no problems and not required a return.

@sarisin: My girlfriend has Cox cable with the lower tier 3mbs speed package and it routinely tests at closer to 2mbs. I've used my Roku there many times with no issues It does take longer for the initial start up (buffering), but ultimately, it gets the job done.

This is an awesome deal. Direct from Roku this one goes for $100 and is the highest tier. You're getting it for the price of the Roku HD (2 products below) http://www.roku.com/roku-products

Saw a brand new one of these at the local target for 89.99 with a 3-month netflix credit. Taking the credit into account, hat would work out to about the same price as this refurb.

I bought one of these from the same place the last time they had this deal a couple months ago. It took forever to arrive, and when it did, it didn't work. Took over a week to get a hold of someone there. By that point, I'd contacted Roku and while I had to pay to ship it back, they replaced it with a new one. I don't recommend ever buying from this place. I've bought things from them in the past, and their customer service, if you can call it that, is non-existent.

We've got a Roku and use it mostly just for Netflix & Hulu. The channels that come free are pretty crappy; you can subscribe to other channels at around $2 a month but none of the paid channels really grab me. Still, it's MUCH easier to watch Netflix & Hulu on the Roku than it is on the Wii, so it's worth it for us.

Excellent deal! In for one :)

Roku is best served hot over steaming rice along with a shot of hot saki.

@zekeg: I have UVerse so hopefully I am good to go!
