Makes me sad I dont have my current prescription.

vote-for2vote-against

love this i got a nice pair of glasses for 14.99 today

vote-for16vote-against

Worked for me. I've ordered from them a handful of times and have never been disappointed. I can never pass up whenever they do one of these sub-$10 deals.

Shipping was $5, by the way. So that's $6 per head or $3 per eye or $6.66 x 10^-7 per cone cell or $3.17 x 10^-8 per cone+rod cells. That's $480-1350 to buy glasses for each soldier in an entire company, assuming they all had terrible eyesight. That's a mere 39 million dollars to supply every person in Washington State with a pair of spectacles. That's a mere 42 billion dollars to give every person on earth a pair of glasses.

They do free tinting too, so in terms of prescription shades, which are horribly costly at many places, that's even more of a deal. I think "medium grey" the recommended sunglasses tint, unless you're going for a child-molestor or Kim Jong-Il vibe.

oh my 3 pairs for 5.99 shipping each and that is all.... put me done for 3 pairs of style!

vote-for1vote-against

Just picked up 2 pairs, grand total was 11.98. Woot indeed!

vote-for1vote-against

Worked for me! It looks like the coupon code goes in as a $19.00 discount. So maybe you can add some extras and pay for those. I just got the most basic $5.99 pair of glasses for spare. Thanks.

vote-for1vote-against

This pissed me off. Spent 20 minutes trying to figure out how to add my prescription to an order. This is what their live chat told me. That's one helluva error.

Unfortunately prescription sunglasses category on the website rarely have prescription sunglasses. This is a website error and it will be rectified soon. However, normal Prescription glasses can be made as prescription sunglasses by adding tint to their lenses. Tint is the permanent color on the lens. We offer free of charge tinting.

These guys are truly outdoing themselves this time. Over 1,000 free frames?! Impressive...

vote-for1vote-against

The discount came up as $19 off for me as well. Here's what I ended up with:

$50 = 2 pairs of glasses with tint (tint is free, but seems to only be available on the $25 lenses)
$9.98 = shipping
<$38> = discount
----------------
$21.98 = the total amount I paid

If the "click here" button isn't working, just use the yellow "free frames" button in the top menu bar thing and that will show you all the free frames, then enter the code when you checkout.

vote-for3vote-against

And don't choose Paypal when you see the first page choice of Paypal or Checkout. Go to the Checkout page and you enter the code on that page, then choose Paypal (or charge) on that Checkout page.

vote-for5vote-against

Select any $0.00 frame and select standard lenses. Enter coupon code at checkout and you will pay $1 + $4.99 shipping for a complete pair. However coupon is applicable store wide on non-branded frames so you can select any combination of frame and lenses and coupon will take off $19.00 per pair.

Just today I bought a brand new pair in-store...then this. I went ahead and bought a few pairs as extras. Never thought I'd be one to be able to have extras -- great price!

Consider buying one with tinting for use as driving sunglasses. Unlike a previous poster, I was able to tint for free on the free frames.

I ordered from this company through a Woot ad. I needed prism correction--for which they didn't add any extra cost--but they never got it right. I had the cost of sending back the glasses over and over and they never got it right. When I complained they just said to send them back but they never volunteered to pick up the continuing cost of sending them back. It's probably a good deal if there's nothing special about your prescription but if there is something special, pay your money where you can hand them back in when there's a mistake.

vote-for5vote-against

I've bought from them twice so far. Expect long wait times for delivery, typically 3-6 weeks. The glasses are good quality, but I've been disappointed with the styles I've gotten from them (one was way too small, but I didn't measure, the other looks kinda silly on me).

The coats are dirt cheap, and good quality. However, their tinting (darkest tint is all I tried) tends to make things slightly purple (not that noticeable unless you have a pair of good sunglasses to compare them against) because they're just a thin film of paint overtop of the lens.

I was warned that they would scratch easy, but I've not gotten any scratches.

If you're like me and need a dark pair of glasses to drive, I'd highly recommend these guys if you're on a budget. That being said, you can get better elsewhere easily, but you'll pay more.

The only thing that bothers me is that is says coupon code applied, but doesn't show my cost until after I enter my credit card info. I refuse to do that until I see my final cost.

I LOVE COMPETE PAIRS OF GLASSES!

vote-for1vote-against

I got this deal for my hubby and he loves them.

vote-for1vote-against

Got two pair of prescription sunglasses for 21.49 shipped! I have a strong prescrip, so the lenses were a little more, but for a little more than 20 bucks its worth a try :)

vote-for1vote-against

Shame I can't find my prescription and to call for it wouldn't get me it in time. Might just throw in random numbers and take the frames in when I get my prescription updated (Which should be soon)

vote-for0vote-against

Shows me the cost on the same page it wants me to put my credit card info on...it's in the middle of the page.

vote-for1vote-against

I keep putting in the code, my glasses total is $77 and it isnt giving me ANY discount what-so-ever

vote-for1vote-against

Same error message. everytime!

The discount number you entered (DealWoot) was not found, has expired or is not applicable. Please click here if you wish to go back and try again

@anna321: Please contact our live chat and they will assist you. The coupon seems to be working fine. Please note that coupon is not applicable on name brand frames.

vote-for1vote-against

I gotta say, if these are cool, this is sweet. Why did I buy glasses through optometrists all of these years?

vote-for1vote-against

Went through, added 3 glasses to my cart, decided to go back to look for a 4th pair, now it doesn't see any glasses in my cart.

Too much hassle.

vote-for1vote-against

@goggles4u: I tried this several times and I still got charged a total of $28.98 for two pair of the FREE frames with Bifocal lens. Of the charges, $9.98 was for shipping, not $4.99. My order number is 1128458 if you wish to review and revise for me.

@bigreddogatl: Please contact our live chat support and they will assist you with your query.

vote-for2vote-against

To note: It appears shipping is 4.99 PER PAIR not per order. Still a pretty fair price. Also, to see the coupon discount you must enter it in the shopping cart then click checkout. The discount should be displayed on the page after that is asking for your CC info.

vote-for1vote-against

Also, this discount seem to work if you get a lens upgrade as well. May want to take into account that these are super basic plastic lenses, and you can upgrade to polycarb or coated lenses for a fee extra $

vote-for1vote-against

I got them for 5.99 It ended being a $1.00 for the the glasses and the rest was shipping. I got mine tinted to use as sunglasses. Honestly you can't buy a regular pair of sunglasses for that cheap and with the lens tinted you can't tell the thickness of the cheaper plastic lens. It's a great deal if you ask me.

vote-for1vote-against

I just bought two pairs for less than $53 including shipping, the code DealWoot saved me $38.

vote-for1vote-against

Wasn't working for me either but I talked to someone there and they set it all up for me. Got the black frames shown in the preview picture.

vote-for1vote-against

awesome got another few pairs this go around. dark tint sunglasses and some clear coated brown frames.

vote-for1vote-against

Great quality glasses, I still use the ones I bought a few months ago off of woot for $4 and they are still going strong. Highly recommended.

vote-for1vote-against

Am I correct that certain prescriptions may require specific (more expensive) lenses? My son's prescription is +5.00 - 4.74 x 164. To enter this I needed to go through the wizard and the only lenses available were more than the $20 I was expecting. Just want to confirm I'm doing it right.

vote-for1vote-against

discount doesnt work for designer glasses... which is basically anything good. I called and they told me tough luck, better luck next time...

vote-for1vote-against

wow, nice deals,i have never bought eyeglasses at such low price!good job!

vote-for2vote-against

I've ordered from this site before on a previous dealswoot discount, I got my first pair of transition prescription glasses for under $30 and they were PERFECT. I measured my head and pupil distance and the prescription and centering were right on the money!

I will say I was skeptical the first time I bought from this site from how cheap it all is but what I thought would be my backup glasses are my primaries and I'll never buy from an overpriced lenscrafters/pearlvision-type store again!

vote-for0vote-against

does anyone know if this deal is still alive? I want to let my mom know about this. I ordered mine last week

vote-for1vote-against

I've ordered here before. Customer service is ok, takes a good month or so to get them, but they do eventually arrive.

deal still going, ordered a pair of prescription aviators today. I will note, there was only like 1 set of aviators they offer prescription lenses for.

vote-for0vote-against

I received mine yesterday. a little bit disappointed at the frames, but for $10.99, i won't complain. They can make a good backup pair :)
