I upvoted this because I don't mind hitting Olive Garden once in a while and this menu deal was news to me, but it's really not that great a deal. You always get soup or salad with your entree anyway, and their mini-desserts are basically served in a shot glass.

Soup is not normally unlimited though. This gives you all the soup you want, instead of salad, and I don't eat that green stuff.

Ya'll do know that except for the salad, EVERYTHING else, is frozen/refrigerated and they just nuke it and bring it to your table, right???

I got this deal the other night, excited as heck considering it was my first time at an Olive Garden and EVERYONE had hyped it up for me. To be honest it was okay, but i could have had just as good a meal at home that I made myself. Like someone said earlier the dessert was Miniscule, the salad was decent, the entree was okay but not great.
UPSIDE - it didnt cost me a dime as I had a gift card.

I just went there for lunch and looked at the 5 choices and although I do enjoy olive garden every once and a while, I was not impressed with the selection for this deal. Oh, and I'm not sure about all olive gardens but here you get a choice of unlimited soup or salad with every entree... so that wasn't a big incitement either. I had the mixed grill and was very happy with it... just cost $16.50... but I shared it with my son and still brought over half of it home. So, not very good deal for me, but maybe someone else will go crazy over it.

Reheated TV dinner quality faux-italian food? I think I'll pass.

@bigray57: You do know that's true for virtually every chain restaurant in the world, right?

We were out at the Olive Garden for dinner, which was lovely. And uh, I happen to look over at a certain point during the meal and see a waitress taking an order, and I found myself wondering
