Look's like Cowboom is having another flash sale, this time for mobile phones. You can get an iPhone 4 for $220 without a contract as well as Android and BlackBerry (Curve 9360 for $120) devices that are popping up. Although it seems like the majority are iPhone 4's (not 4s'). With the "pay as you go" companies now supporting iPhone's this may be worth it for some people.

For those of you that are not familiar with Cowboom it is a division of Best Buy that sells their returns/open box items. So all the items are listed in "used" condition and are given a rating between 1-6. If you see a 6 the item is near perfect and most of the 5's are in decent shape too. Cowboom gets fantastic reviews and grade their products pretty tight.

Not sure why the title was edited, but these prices are NO CONTRACT prices.

An Android device was gone earlier before I could see the model/price. It was the HTC EVO Shift 4G 5MP Sprint 4G Android Smartphone for $50.

At least with the last fire sale the did with tablets, you could add the item to your cart and it would put a hold on it so it would not 'sell out' in a matter of seconds, that will give you time to look at the product before you make the purchase.

The Iphone is only the 4 model, unless its the 4S for that price, i wouldn't buy

I'm never confident in pulling the trigger as I have no Idea if any particular phone would work with Verizon. I need a 4g phone w/o losing my unlimited data package.

@jnam22: Each phone that pops up lists the service it works with in the title. I haven't seen any Verizon yet. Lots of AT&T, a few Sprint. If it says Verizon in the title, it'll work with Verizon.

Some of these are lame deals. $280 for a One X or $380 for a Galaxy SIII? No thanks.

A couple of decent phones have popped up, but their updating is erratic.

Just wanted to point out that Cowboom rates phones from 1-9, not 1-6.

I've never bought from Cowboom but as far as I've seen and read, 6 is usually decent quality. I've never personally seen a 9, but I have seen 7-8 pop up on a cowboom sale (can't say if it was a flash sale like this though).

Also, if anyone doesn't know, phones will sell out rapidly and be replaced by another a few seconds later (you just need to refresh).
