@bmacknz: I have this TV in a 32" size with the built in DVD player. I had never heard of Haier brand before this purchase, but we love ours! As far as ordering with WOOT, I wouldn't have any reservations. All of my transactions with them have been great. Hope this helps....

H Has anyone purchase this item... Any opinion or comments on this deal. I've been looking for a TV/DVD combo but have no experience with the deals.woot.

I don't own one, and haven't heard anything too bad about the Haier brand, but I wanted to let people know that I've heard their TV's cannot be controlled by any Universal type Remote control. So if you have a Set Top Box or Dish type receiver you will have to use the tv's remote for power/volume. Apparently they won't give out the frequencies/patterns to any universal remote companies.
