@shyguy91284: Amen! I could just as easily run my old copy on an emulator with hardware acceleration it'll look the same as this.

No thanks. I'm not even asking for a remake.... I'd like them to take the original artwork and/or renderings from the original and regenerate them in high resolution. I'd then pay double for this.... But it appears they didn't... They probably just fixed bugs preventing the old version from running on modern systems and repackaged it.... Kinda a dick move really....

@zetalidan: the problem i have with using my hdtv is the lag you get from these, the crt didnt have any lag btw signal and picture but try and play punchout on a hdtv and it is super hard timing is all off. but in general it works. I do have a crt that i will lug out pretty much for punch out or just take the nes downstairs and play it.

@chronosquall14:
I have an HDTV still just so I can bust out the old systems for games like this one. Component cables do the job for all, even an NES.

Also, popping PS games into the PS3 is nice. Little bit of upscaling and some other tweaks make it better than getting out the PS.

I've never played it, but with that battle system? I might as well buy a DS and just play the latest Golden Sun game. Even if I had the time, no thanks.

FFVII and FFVIII are the best Final Fantasy games ever made.

All others are junk to me.

Did they fix the W-Item trick? Hah.

@digitalurbancamo: It says right on the site that regular price is 2 dollars more. And those who got ahold of the early leak paid 12.40. So yeah, technically a deal.

This is not a deal though. It has been this price since the inception of the games release. Square Enix said it will most likely stay this price.

This has been out for a while now (a couple of weeks at least) but everyone is having problems with the DRM. Not being able to download and unhappy that there are stipulations limiting the total number of downloads you can have. Personally, I'm going to wait and hope it comes to Steam - one of the few DRM platforms that doesn't make me very unhappy that I spent money on something.
