I use one of these for my bedroom tv and it's great. At this price I'm strongly thinking about buying another one for the living room.

I like mine too... not as good as having a stereo with proper speakers for movies, but far superior to the little tinny speakers in the TV.
Fantastic buy... tempted to get one for the bedroom tv too.

@quicksears: I was about to ask the time frame on the rebate process, as i paid $55 a few weeks ago from somewhere else but no rebate. :)
Its a good deal, but not for the wait on a refurb item

I've owned one of these for about 5 months. I paid about $70 and at that price I think it's a really good deal for basic sound bar. At $39 I think that's a fabulous deal even if you have to wait a bit for the rebate.

I am not sure why it doesn't say refurbished on the title, I probably would have done it had it been a new item - I was getting pretty torqued... but with all comments about the slow rebate and the fact that it is a refurbished item (I looked at their return policy and got even more flaccid)...

damn. i actually need a sound bar for a tv, but the number of one star reviews talking about multiple DOA's is a bit offputting. stuff happens, but usually not 3 in a row to a dozen ppl. pass.

I have had one since Christmas and we rarely use it. The music and sound effects come through fine but voices are barely audible. We are constantly turning the volume up and down whenever its on.
