@gopvifootball: ya that's when I initially picked it up. However it's been fairly high since (other than a 1-day sale back in March). It's not often that it drops to below $60.

Bought if a month or so ago when it was $50 couldn't pass it up. This is still a great deal, 15 discs of the everything they did for these movies.

It's no $35 at Wal-Mart, but it'll do, pig. It'll do.

Also, the clock is ticking on those digital downloads, so if you're still waiting for a good deal and value that part of the equation, it may be worth going all in on soon.

@rickmoranisftw: Hard to say. They (Warner Bothers)could always extend the life of the digital download time if they have a large amount stock left.

@dm725 I think there is an extra 120 minutes of actual movie then countless hours of bonus features. So if you're a LOTR fan it's not just "3 movies" plus its blueray so, I don't know. i got this for myself for my birthday, and at $70 I was still very happy. I've already plowed through it 4 times.

This is a great box set. Very well made and I enjoyed all of the content. I still haven't gotten through everything but what I have seen was simply amazing.
