Call of Duty: Black Ops PS3 or XBOX360 Pre-Order w/ $20 Amazon Video Game Credit for $59.99
I know this is a long ways out.
This game will be released November 9, 2010. Amazon is offering Call of Duty: Black Ops Pre-Order on the PS3 and XBOX360 with $20 Amazon Video Game Credit + FS with Amazon Prime or FSSS.
This game has the Pre-Order Price Guarantee which means you will be charged the lowest price once the game has been released.
Also you will not be charged until the game is shipped. By placing the order now, you are basically guaranteed a copy once released.
Enjoy!
How does this work? $20 off the game COD: Black Ops? or $20 off something else? If it's $20 off the game which means I can apply the credit towards COD: Black Ops then I'm in for getting it for $39.99 :D
no you will get 20 bux off any other video game purchase like the new MOH!
@qman89: Or Starcraft 2!
I'd wait...walmart and other stores had this same deal when COD: MW2 came out only you could use their $20 gift card for anything, not just a video game.
@ebobo: No, you only get the credit once the game is out. Starcraft comes out first so he can't redeem the credit toward that.
These credits work toward anything under the video games category on Amazon. I've used them on controllers and other accessories before, so it does not have to just be games.
@kbohnr: Walmart already has this deal in place based on comments in Amazon. I guess Walmart came out with the 20 dollar gift card on this game before Amazon did.
@drez143: Yeah, Amazon usually waits and matches the competitors. But the reason I enjoy buying from Amazon so much is because of Amazon Prime's Free 2 day or release day shipping and no tax!
i ordered one. figure with the $20 thing i could get portal 2 when it comes out ya know? plus its free shipping so its the same cost as anywhere else. and you get a $5 mp3 download thingy for buying a game on amazon.
It's just not the same without Price.
the real question is what team made this? im all for the MW team but not so big of the COD3 and COD:WaW team. though for this price i might give them another chance. im in the process of moving all my pre orders from gamestop to amazon and this will have to be in the mix
@crycis805: Have you seen the video previews? Hard to tell just by looking, but I would think the same team that made MW/MW2, but I don't want to definitely say it was them. Just going by the very little that I've seen.
Treyarch is making Black Ops. They are the company that made World at War.
@yellowchevy48: Thanks! And for that, I'll have to pass. I never bought WaW, I likely won't buy this.
I'd also like to comment that Infinity Ward (creators/developers of COD, COD2, COD4:MW and COD:MW2) have recently lost almost all of their top people in a compensation dispute with Activision. One of the founders/CEO of IW as well as the game director, president, CCO, and CTO have both left. In addition they took about 39 employees with them. I'm not saying that future COD games will be poor (or good for that), just something you should probably know when thinking about purchasing their games in the future.
Of course the PC folks get shafted... again. Personally, I was a little skeptic about WaW, but ONCE I ACTUALLY PLAYED IT, I thoroughly enjoyed it and spent many hours of my life blasting virtual people in their virtual faces.
Deals over. There is no longer any extra gift card.
RIP
