hmmm great idea, but doesn't seem to be hidden very well

@kamikazeken: LOL! I agree. I have to assume that the flask hides within the seat somewhere and you don't just stroll in carrying that big honking flask. I wish they had posted a picture showing how it hides.

Personal story: I used to sneak our football booze into the stadium in a hairspray or throat spray. Only got busted once. The best option I saw during my college student days was a frat brother of DH who borrowed his mother's seal-a-meal thingie, sealed up a chain of small pouches of whatever he was drinking, and wrapped them around his waist under his clothes.

Of course, now that I'm old and don't drink much, I have no real use for this..... unless I have to sit with the inlaws at a game, then I need all of the "lubricant" I can handle!

@belyndag: Hello there! I see how it hides on the 3rd image on the site. Slides in the back portion. And...LOL on the inlaws

@graymonkey: You're right! Strange that the thumbnails didn't even show up until I scrolled over them. I guess the flask just looks like part of the back padding when it's in place.

Actually, now that I think of it, this wouldn't work for us as our part of Tiger Stadium has built-in seats. They MIGHT be suspicious of we tried to bring in our own seat. LOL!

Love my in-laws, but MIL never lets me finish a sentence. Seriously! I bought a t-shirt that says "Excuse me. I didn't hear you. I was still talking." but she doesn't seem to realize that it's about her! Ah, well. At least she talks to me.

@graymonkey: I can vouch for @belyndag on this. We share in-laws. MIL is a chatterer!

Many, if not all, NFL venues are no longer allowing seat cushions. Just an fyi.

vote-for4vote-against

no way this gets into any NFL venue. No zippered seat cushions allowed. Also, flask would set off metal detectors. ALL venues by NFL (No Fun League) rules

@chiefkief: Maybe so, but wouldn't this be comfy & useful on a park bench? Or waiting for the bus or on a train? Oh, I know, I know, at church, AT CHURCH!!! Or at the..... ;P

Well, I've already said that this wouldn't work for where are seats are located at the LSU games, but we're still trying to figure out how to get our own booze onto our cruise ship next month. I don't think they will believe we need a stadium seat there, either.

This wouldn't even fool my 6 year old.

@shnatew: Now that's interesting. Have you tried these?

vote-for2vote-against

@belyndag: the hairspray bottle idea seems like a winner for the cruise ship! Just make sure you wear REALLY BIG TEXAS HAIR when you board that way you can explain why you REALLY need 12 bottles of hairspray! ;-)

@vmforrest: LOL! I think I would need a wig. Hmmmm. A wig flask! I think I should patent that idea!

vote-for1vote-against

@belyndag: they DID post a pic of how it hides, if you click the link & scroll through the pics.

@shingalana: Thanks. If you look up a bit, you'll see that I caught that after my earlier post. For some reason only one thumbnail was showing up on my screen. After @graymonkey posted a note about it I went back and scrolled over that area and the other pic magically showed up. Strange. Was it just my computer or did it look this way on your screen, too?

For cruises I have done this on 3 different occasions.

Pick a cheapo mouthwash of each flavor at the dollar store dump it out then pour in the alcohol that closely resembles the original color of the mouthwash then give 1 each to the people you are going with to put in their bags. I guess if you are going alone you should probably only take 1. Might look weird if you have 3 huge things of mouthwash.

Taking alcohol like this makes getting the soda card totally worth it.

@godspeed843: A touch of food coloring would help with the color, and not affect the taste. Just a thought!

@belyndag: good call. will have to try that next time.
