$25 Worth of Nuts, Dried Fruit, and More for $10
To ensure freshness, arrogant scientists recommend storing nuts in abandoned tree stumps, the jowls of soft-toothed bears, or empty cassette cases. Ignore illegitimate science advice with today's Groupon: for $10, you get $25 worth of nuts, dried fruit, and more from Nutty Guys. Nutty Guys sports a massive selection of nuts, dried fruit, candied delights, organic goodies, and more. Legume fundamentalists will raise fists in solidarity at the chance to buy both raw peanuts and raw Spanish peanuts (each starting at $3.73/8 oz.), while nut progressives can try punishingly powerful wasabi peanuts ($3.37/8 oz.). Fuel snack times with mango cubes ($3.75) and apple-juice-sweetened blueberries ($7.15/8 oz.), or sweeten a stash with chocolate-covered pretzels ($6.70/1 lb.), butter toffee almonds ($8.38/1 lb.), or cinnamon gummy bears ($3.67/8 oz.).First meeting as roommates at Brigham Young University, the titular Nutty Guys began their ascent to nut domination
FYI $10 S&H for up to 10 Lbs.

"You're gonna love my nuts!"
Hmm...my slapchop hasn't been used for a while...
Horrible customer service, can't ship products properly, and shipping is way overpriced
They have a C- on BBB and 1.5 stars on Yelp... avoid!!!
"Limit 1 per person, may buy 2 additional as gifts. Limit 1 per order"
Went to buy three , but they claim you can use only 1 per order, and if each order is $10 shipping, you end up with $15 to use.
You can't use the Groupon towards shipping
I've ordered from them twice before and not had any problems. I don't remember whether they had a free shipping special or the nuts were just cheap enough that the shipping was worth it. One of the times was a Groupon and the other was not.
I wish Groupon would have a sell where I could send them a 10 dollar bill and and get a twenty back in the mail. That would be cool.
Unfortunately I can't give this deal a thumb's up.
I purchased this Groupon previously and tried to use it a few months back. Ordered my items and put a note on the Paypal checkout box as instructed with Groupon info. I was charged the whole amount and they said they would refund me for the value of the Groupon.
That's as far as my purchase got. They took the $41 from my account and then refunded me $25, as well as $16. So I paid nothing. I got an email explaining their error and asking me to send the $16. I did this and emailed them to confirm. I received confirmation that everything was okay. It wasn't.
A week later I still had not received any confirmation - so I emailed. They said that I had not paid. I emailed back and explained. They still said I had not paid. Got a manager and the BBB involved. Did not help.
Disputed with Paypal and Groupon - they both refunded me. I am still incredibly unsatisfied with the way my situation was handled.
Just what happened to me.
I don't see ANY detailed description of what you get. Groupon is one of these Priceline things that acts like a broker wit a FEW bargains and a lot of hassles.
Maybe the worst customer service of any company I've ever dealt with. Last time this was up on groupon I bought one and placed an order. It wasn't shipped for 4 weeks and my emails weren't responded to. I finally contacted Groupon who contacted them and Nutty Guys tried to tell me there was a shipping error where "some" orders never got shipped and were lost in the shuffle. I'd stay well clear.
I already buy three times from this guys. Their shipping is SLOW!, but I admit they get a little better every time. Quality is very good, their product is very fresh, Shipping is five dollars for 2 lbs, and jump to $10 for over 2 lbs, what is a deal killer, and many chocolate dip products are not available thru summer. If you don't mind to wait three o four weeks for your nuts, this could be a good deal.
I've bought three Groupons for them and used them all. First time the nuts and fruit were great, very fresh, and the shipping was something like 5 lbs for $5. Then the shipping went up and the quality went down.
I agree about the crummy customer service--I complained about the quality of one product, and their response was, "You got it with a Groupon so you only paid like $1 for it so what do you want?" Well, then I want my $1 back. Or an apology for the poor quality.
I'm going to chime in that I bought a groupon for nutty guys before, one of the bags of nuts came split open and spilled everywhere, the company was incredibly unhelpful. Awful customer service.
This company has terrible customer service! I purchased the last time they were on Groupon and almost 2 mos. later I finally got my package after I sent a nasty email to them and Groupon. Buyer Beware!
