Its now 715, am I missing something??

vote-for1vote-against

It appears to have gone up in price.

Check these guys out at Resellerratings.com before you buy. If it's too good to be true, it usually is.

In the media business for quite some time and with the uprising in dslr's everyone is trying to scoop up the market. Going along with the previous comment it is most likely too good to be true. They'll sell you one thing and ship another, try to up sell you, hold your funds and never ship ect ect. My advice use B&H Photo Video. They're the best. Extremely fast processing, handling and shipping. They have everything and best part is they have the best prices you can get from a reputable vendor. My two cents:)

Aw, definitely a really good deal if real

The body for this camera alone still sells for 700, on average. With the kit lens, expect 70-150 dollars more.

Now, it seems this place isn't exactly a shining beacon of positive reputation, so I'd advise you slink off somewhere like adorama or amazon and buy from there.

SLRs are pretty much the same price everywhere. I saw this and was ready to run for the credit card (my Rebel XS could use a playmate) but I think I'll just hold off.

Best of luck to anyone that gives this place a shot, though.

Ok, I checked out your site http://www.resellerratings.com/store/Best_Price_Electronics, and it doesn't look like its that bad of a reputation. 9 out of 10 with 80 reviews isn't that bad.

Careful, the website says this is the the KISS version for $715. The KISS version is the international version and the warranty is NOT VALID in the United States.

T2i is my first DSLR, it is amazing compare to normal point-and-shoot. Should have waited, I got it for around $900 over the summer for my trip to the mid-west.

This store has an unsatisfactory rating as well with Wot. Not sure why, but if you're familiar with Wot, it works the same way as Woot. It's rated by people like us who have a good or bad experience with a site. I've been using it for a few years and except for a few times, it's been pretty right on the money.

I purchased my 1st DSLR last month after researching them for over a year. Only had a Canon SD300 before. After holding, testing, value for your money & seeing the results between Canon (Forget the T2i feels like a toy) & Pentax: I went with Pentax K20D (Refur) which I purchased here on Woot for $500 and have not had one single doubt about my decision. My 1st choice if I was rich, I would have gone with Nikon. However, to get the results I can get with Pentax, it would cost me 3 to 5 times more. IMHO

This is a great deal from someone I haven't heard of. However, I read about a deal on Amazon through Dealnews.com For about $850 after rebate, I will get:

T2i Camera
T2i Kit Lens
55-300mm Lens
4GB Card
Canon Mark 9000 13*19" printer (sells for $450)

@jbwhite99: 55-300? Chances are it's actually the EF 75-300mm f4-5.6. It's not a bad lens, by any means, but it's nothing to write home about. If this is your first SLR, it's certainly a good lens to add to your collection.

Since this is a 1.6x crop camera, you'd be doing yourself a huge favor by picking up the EF-S 55-250 IS (~$@250) especially if you want to do telephoto handheld. Another awesome lens would include the EF 50mm f1.8 ($95). Referred to as the "nifty fifty" it produces crazy sharp pictures, but the all-plastic casing is not durable. Don't drop it.

I'm not sure about that printer, I haven't looked up that model before. Either way, the camera with both lenses is worth the 850. Pay it and feel good about it. :)

This is not a good deal!

Generally deals like this suck in noobs and tell you that the battery isn't included or you have to pay extra for the charger, etc. Then by the time you have fought with them and added on all the stuff that is supposed to come with the kit you are paying more than if you went to B&H or your local store. I bought a T2i kit yesterday with the 55-250is for $950. the kit by itself was $799.

I'd look elsewhere.

@killjoy: Checked Resellerratings before my purchase. 9/10 = bad?

@tbrauch: Photo shows T2i version. Contacted the seller, who also confirms it's the T2i. (Reason why it's NOT in parentheses.)

@helmatj: Then show me a good deal.

@wilbur444: If you took the time to go to the website and read the "included" list, everything is there. Plus, you get a free kit, which includes tripod, case, cleaning cloth, etc. FOR FREE.

@ everyone else: I'll post an update after/if I get my camera. I understand why many of you worry about a deal like this, but I figure it couldn't hurt (since I can always call my credit card company if something serious happens).

vote-for1vote-against

A little late. But do not buy from these guys. They'll call you and try to sell you an 8gb SD card for $120 (WTF). They lie about having their items in stock. I tried to buy a T1i from them recently and i'm experiencing these issues -_- odds are i'll be canceling my order if they haven't "gotten their new stock" in the next two days. Horrible customer service as well.

I'd just avoid them.

vote-for1vote-against

Well I think everyone tried to warn people to stay away. I hope no one loses and crap like this is why we're here.

vote-for1vote-against

I bought one. It came. It was the right camera and at the right price.

vote-for1vote-against

Did you get the free case, tripod, and other accessories?

vote-for2vote-against

Just wanted to let you all know that I just received my camera. It was the T2i with lens, and all I paid was $685.

vote-for1vote-against

@seanbon008 still happy with the purchase? I'm thinking about purchasing through them.
