dealsgoogle nexus 4 - t-mobile for $0.00 + free…

Cool deal, but for new customers only. It's like $385 for an existing customer.

I'm curious if this comes with all the t-mobile + other bloatware that their phones come with.

At least it's easily rootable.

It shouldn't come with any extra software - that's the point of the Nexus line, pure Google.

No bloatware at all... My source is having just had to help my father set one up.

@bsmith1: Call them if you are eligible for upgrade. If you have been with them for a while, they would honor the promo price for new customers for renewing ones, too. I just got mine (I have been with them for 10 years) at this deal.

Good deal on the phone, but check out your options with their 4g prepay plans. It might be less expensive in the long run for you to buy the phone outright from Google and then enroll in one of their prepay plans. The 2-year contract plans are more expensive.

I wish t-mobile had better coverage so I could use it around here. I'd love to get one of their prepay plans and save a ton of money and get a badass phone like the nexus 4.

No contract extension price is $549? Aren't these $300 straight from google?

Get this, then pay the ETF after 30 or 60 days or whatever it is and then go prepaid. :-)

I almost got one of these until I realized it has a fixed memory (16GB in this case). No card slot. My music alone would eat that.

just use google music, problem solved. I got the 8 gig because I didnt have the extra cash. Between google music and a free 50gigs from box, I haven't ran out of memory yet and don't think I will

@squidboots: I agree with this. I bought the phone from Google's Play Store when it first came out and have been using it with T-mobile's online/walmart only $30 per month plan (5 GB of 4G data, unlimited text, but only 100 min. talk). The savings in my phone bill alone will basically make up the cost of the phone in about a year, and plus I'm not under contract.

I don't know why mickster1245 got downvoted. If you're coming from an Android phone with an SD card slot, this is definitely something to be aware of.

I've had this phone for about 2 weeks now and I'm blown away! The speed is ridiculous. And it's a pure Google experience so it's updated direct from Google, no waiting on carriers to tweak things. Mine was updated to 4.2.2 after two days. And on a side note, Tmobile's coverage is spotty but I'm lucky enough to pull their HSPA+ in my area. I hit a 28 mb/s dowload speed the other night. My buddy sitting next to me on Verizon's 4G LTE hit 9 mb/s.
