Are these wines selected by Woot's wine experts as might be one of the implied and perhaps "confusing" meanings of the promotion slogan, "Woot Fall Wines"?

As with any wine purhase, I suggest potential winebuyers try and do some research into online reviews of and prices for the wines being sold. Try also to find them locally in stores and ask about them--you may be surprised that they may be difficult if not impossible to find. If that's the case, ask yourself why?

I only buy wines if they're both well-reviewed from a reliable independent source and offered at a great comparative price. I have found that generally with these kind of batch offerings one is very often happier with selections chosen from among those offered/recommentded by wine.woot or a good local wine shop.

I have not transacted business with this company and my advice is general. The wines offered here may be delcious and the price may be favorable. Come to your own conclusions but do a little homework first

Incidentally, I just did a quick search for online INDEPENDENT reviews of these wines and while I didn't find much what I did find was on the positive side rather than the negative side for them. Not a lot of info. Might be worth trying! Particularly at the price offered.

But my comments regarding care in making a purchase of wine in the future still may yeld you benefit.

@icymagic: to answer your first question: No. Anent the wines, my guess is that most casual wine drinkers will enjoy them. In general, these wines will be crowd-pleasers with just a hint of residual sugar accompanied by basic flavors (not funky, not minerally, etc.). More experienced drinkers who know the specific styles, regions, and varietals they like will know whether or not this type of wine is for them or not. It is not for me.
