"...cuts wood, METAL, plastic and just about anything else." ??? I'd be interested in knowing just what type of "metal" you might be able to cut with this....an aluminum soda can, maybe? The "just about anything else" seems a bit hyperbolic, too.

@cathammer: Usually high carbon steel knives are capable of cutting through softer sheet metal. Not pretty, and your knife isn't going to last very long doing it, but it's possible.

There are a bunch of videos of the 'cold steel' line of knives being jammed through metal sheet to demonstrate this. It's pretty laughable, and very dumb.

I have these knives from a previous sale. I will not be cutting metal with them. However, they are quite adequate for general camping, home or outdoor uses that you would use a hunting knife for.

Anyone know what brand these are, or what kind of steel they're made of?

They are from a company called "Tool Solutions".....They don't have any marking as to grade of steel, but they have held up over several rough camping trips I used them on....They hold an edge...I would buy them again. Remember, this is a cheap knife...For what they cost, they are good...
