Apple iPod Nano 8GB 5th Gen. Refurbished for $99.99
Not to talk trash about the sponsored deal, but don't do it. Cheap imitations like these are usually just that, cheap. I can't get down to their pricing but I will go down to $99.99 with a special "I want to save my Woot Friends from buying trash" coupon code. This is for a refurb of an actual 8GB iPod.
Coupon code: NoToAce (and yes, it works on all colors of nanos we have in stock.)
Description:The iPod nano now has a built-in video camera that lets you spontaneously shoot video wherever you are. And that's just the beginning. It has a dramatic, polished anodized aluminum finish and a larger screen. The new Genius Mixes feature acts as your personal DJ, automatically searching your iTunes library, then making mixes you'll love. Take iPod nano anywhere and the new Pedometer counts your steps. Also making its debut: a built-in FM radio with two amazing features--iTunes Tagging and Live Pause.

a note on Dyscern - I ordered a bluetooth headset from them and it shipped without the accessories it should have. A couple emails later and everything I needed was shipped to me no questions asked.
I would definitely do business with them again.
same basic deal posted by frisch1
Discount Code doesn't work on the links provided. Don't bother.
@efdisk: hmmm, which item did you try and use it on? It has been used a few times so far so the code is working though perhaps I missed a color/capacity.
You can get a 4th gen 8gb Nano refurb directly from Apple for $99 and it has a full 1 year warranty....(vs the 30days on this deal) If you don't need the camera that may be a better deal.
the code did NOT work for the black nor the blue nano
Won't work on Purple either :(
Not a bad deal, if you can get it to work.
As Evan (partially) noted above, direct from Apple, the Refurbished Nano is:
(Previous version, no camera) 8 GB for $99, or 16GB for $119
(Current version) 8GB refurb is $129, or 16GB for $149
However - note that Apple direct refurbs are warranted for a full year, and are otherwise treated exactly the same by Apple as a new purchase.
FWIW, I don't know how well the Dyscern checkout system works...
I tried to order the chainsaw deal from these folks recently, and unfortunately the order got dropped through the cracks somewhere.
I went all the way through checkout, or so I thought -- as I got no confirmation email, no saw, and (fortunately) no charges to my Mastercard. By the time I figured to see what was going on, the saw was no longer available on the site... ::sigh::
Hi all,
My bad. Sure enough I somehow missed the blue and purple. Not so sharp today... As an apology I have extended the coupon code for another 48 hours. Be sure to use the regular checkout though. Coupon codes don't work on our site for GoogleCheckout.
@gregorim: Sorry to hear about the chainsaw. Let me find out if we have any hidden somewhere. Send me an email to erika/@/dyscern/./com if you are still interested.
This seller shipped the iPod quickly, after I bought it. No problems at all. I'd rather have the 5th gen from this seller than the 4th from apple.
Would be a decent deal, even at 104.99 - BUT THEIR LINKS TO CHECKOUT ARE BROKEN! Heading to the apple store. Dyscern might want to get their heads in the game if they want to stay in business.
Site still does not work - why?
