It's $134.99 so I guess the deal has ended

@sadsephiroth: Good catch! I'll see if they can change it. The title should read: Seagate Barracuda ST3000DM001 3TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5"

@karizma: Use the Promo Code mentioned in the details and it will be $114.99

@sadsephiroth: See? Look how nice the woot staff is, they fixed it right away! :)

@karizma: Nope...if you add it to your cart and go to the checkout, there is a PROMO CODE box and it is still working.

@karizma: That's BEFORE the promo code EMCXSWV22 (which is in the text up above).

@jdculbreath: You need to be logged into your Newegg account to have the promo code box show up during checkout. It still worked for me.

I'm confused by this link.

456,472 reviews, ranging from "fast SSD" to "nice motherboard" and "decent case"

Searching for ST3000DM001 yields the same thing after I click on the product page.

@eraten: My bad. For some reason when I checked the first time I didn't see the promo code that is now above. But it seems like the description has been changed so that's a good thing

I got one of these for 85 bucks on Amazon back in January. Not bad at all, I must say.

This series is currently the only high capacity SATA magnetic drive I'd consider as a main one (barring use of an SSD). Performance is great for such a large drive.
