Shows $21.99 now. (free shipping). Same deal (using the code) just re-arranged a bit, I guess. Not bad.

@martmann4: I get 25.20 using the code

I read the reviews and they say the mouse eats up battery. There is no off button for the mouse?

I have used this combo for the last year and love it for a desktop. I have not used it for a laptop although there is a receiver that connects to the device via usb or ps2. As far as the battery, I'm on my 2nd set.

I had gotten the "dented box" wireless laser notebook mouse... I have to say... It was in perfect condition. Apparently for it to be considered "Dented box" all it has to be is a bit scratched up, otherwise the box looked brand new.

I guess what I am saying is that Logitech has loose standards for "dented box" which results in amazing deals.

Does anyone know the distance maximum?

Yes, $25.20 after code.

I've had a set for a year now .. paid $19.99 on sale at BJs. One of the keyboard feet broke in the 1st week. The other about a week or 2 later. Battery life is ok, especially good on the keyboard. Worth $25 .. no more. Also .. it does seem to not function a lot during boot (ie. can't select options). Could be my mobo, but just wanted it out there.

just bought it. my buddy just got one recently and he loves it. He paid more though ;)

@msphu: If you use it pretty often, it does eat through batteries. We use the combo on our media center, and we're replacing the batteries on the mouse maybe once every three weeks to a month (it takes AAAs). There is no off switch, which DOES suck.

The batteries on the keyboard (AAs) last a LOT longer; we usually have to replace them once every two to three months, sometimes a bit longer.

We cheat, though, and use rechargeables, but we've seen the same battery life with alkalines as well.

@jemcnett
Logitech's page says it's a 27MHz device, so I wouldn't expect to get more than about 5 feet for reliable operation. Not suitable for most people's HTPC setups.

Got the deal first time it showed up here. The item was in perfect condition but the functionality is (mod edit: profanity). Replaced it after 2 months of locking up my system.

code still works as of 2/23, bought one of these at wally world with a set of speakers for my mother in law last week and they charged me 40.00+tax(doh!)
