The fine print: "Please note that we reserve the right to qualify requests and will not send to public domains or personal email accounts."

Tried it but I doubt any of us will actually get one.

I did it, but I am kind of worried that I am going to get calls from their sales reps now. They are pretty good looking safety glasses though.

Think you'll have better luck with a .edu email address?

In for one.. but this won't happen..

"Your request has been received and will be processed after evaluation. Please note that we reserve the right to qualify requests and will not send to public domains or personal email accounts."

Maybe I'll have a better shot, since I have a legitimate need for eye protection in my job (and I don't have a budget, so calls from a sales rep will be for naught).

I tried it, and also have a legitimate need. I got the following response, and it will have to wait until sometime tomorrow.

"Thank you for contacting Peltor. One of our staff will be in touch with you shortly about your request.

To verify your request, you will receive an e-mail from weboffers@aearospecialoffers.com in a few moments. Please follow the link on the e-mail to ensure your sample request is processed. We appreciate your interest. "

Could just do what I did and make a false email address with a company name like "East_Coast_Harley@gmail.com". I'm sure they'd look to sending one after seeing that email address more than "SkippyJenkins43093@hotmail.com".

Just my two cents.

@timekeeper: I got the same response. I gave them my legitimate employer, title and .edu address, with my home postal address. It remains to be seen what will happen.

I'm going to avoid this because of the possibility of human interactions.

I got this, after clicking the confirmation link in my work email addy.

Used student email address and the school as my place of employment. We'll see how this one goes.

Appears that school emails work fine.

I don't know if it's worth taking the risk of having someone hassle me with a sales pitch. I mean, they're only a couple of bucks at lowes and sears... right?

vote-for1vote-against

Seemed to work fine, Just clicked on verification email and said I was verified.

It said I had to to put a title. SO I put Blue Wizard! I didn't think it would take it...

I am now a Blue Wizard.

@toastriot: I put the same phone number for any offer 555-555-5555. They don't want to give me my free? Fine. At least I don't have to get their phone calls.

@azar: I put Esquire. Might as well be classy!

I'm in. I get sales weasels bothering me all the time. Might as well get something good from one of them for once.

vote-for1vote-against

For address, should I put my school address? I don't want them sending it to my school...

The link is dead on this one.
