The deal is for the AMAZON appstore. It's 4.99 everywhere outside of amazon.

This is a fun game, no idea why it's rated so low on Amazon, I trust their APP rating system about as much as I trust the headphones on the sponsored deals today.

Very fun game and for free this is fantastic.

@linuxtrance: Probably rated low because it's one of those that requires "play credits" which you have to wait to acquire, or purchase. Also allows in game "upgrades" that cost real money!

This game is awesome and totally worth it to get, especially for free. Matchup mode is the main benefit to the paid version since you can play online against other people from all around the world as much as you would like.

@tcayer: The ratings are most likely low because of the server issue. Com2us servers SUCK and get overwhelmed often. You will find yourself getting kicked out of the middle of a game and losing points at least once everytime you play online. I have 4G, it's not my phone.

Also, you DO NOT NEED TO PAY ANYTHING EXTRA TO BE SUCCESSFUL AT THIS GAME. It does not require credits to win. That is why you pay $4.99 for the full version.

True, there are some upgrades that you can buy (some even cost around $20 if I remember correctly), but they are not neccessary and there are plenty of free ones available.

Arcade mode is great, but you get that with the free version so not really going to talk about that. Just get this game, it is great.

@laziboie: Exactly, I have played this game for hours on end and never paid a dime. I earned the gold balls by completing challenges, and I have a pretty decent set of equipment, I don't need the highest stuff, I'm happy with what I have. So, you definitely do NOT need to spend money if you don't want to.

I got this app when Google was doing the 10 cent app days, and I've enjoyed it off and on ever since

The other reason Amazon reviewers rate it low is excessive permissions. You have to give it access to pretty much everything, so they can spy and datamine as much as they like.

I'm not too fond of Com2uS games anymore after playing Gun Bros. They seemed to have processes running in the background all the time so the game could download updates and put ads about the game in the notification area. Maybe that won't happen with this game, though I'm not really willing to give Com2uS another chance.
