Star Trek (Two-Disc Edition, 2009) for $2.80
free shipping w/ amazon prime, or with $25 order.
Format is DVD.
The greatest adventure of all time begins with Star Trek, the incredible story of a young crew’s maiden voyage onboard the most advanced starship ever created: the U.S.S. Enterprise. On a journey filled with action, comedy and cosmic peril, the new recruits must find a way to stop an evil being whose mission of vengeance threatens all of mankind. The fate of the galaxy rests in the hands of bitter rivals. One, James Kirk (Chris Pine), is a delinquent, thrill-seeking Iowa farm boy. The other, Spock (Zachary Quinto), was raised in a logic-based society that rejects all emotion. As fiery instinct clashes with calm reason, their unlikely but powerful partnership is the only thing capable of leading their crew through unimaginable danger, boldly going where no one has gone before.

Wow, good find Op!!
There is a digital copy that comes with this, but it apparently expired in November. Why would it expire?
Anyway, great price for the DVD alone.
This is cheaper than pirating. What with SOPA/PIPA and all.
Good one, I paid $10 for a used DVD of this a couple of years ago. These days I know the ones with the little white labels round the hole are ex-Netflix discs...
just bought two. awesome!
Damn good deal.
If I didn't already get this on sale at walmart a while back, I would have gotten this.
Correction:
I did not already have this.
The version that I have is a single disc version.
Wonder if I should go ahead and get this one?
In for 6
J.J. Abrams killed the Vulcans...both he & Star Trek are dead to me now.
Long live TOS, TNG, DS9, Voyager, & Enterprise!!
And I thought I was doing well when I got the exact same item from Amazon for $6.40 in September. Nice!
In for one! <3 Spock!
good movie on it's own, but this is one franchise where a "reboot" of 45 years of history was a kick in the nuts to millions of fans.
Great deal, thanks!
Just a fyi, it's not sold by amazon, though it's fulfilled by amazon, merely meaning that the third-party seller has it shipped to amazon, who then ships to you, allowing you to utilize Prime/FSS shipping. However, because it's still a third-party product, I would beware as to the actual "new" condition of the item. I have dealt with sellers who re-seal DVDs and sell them as "new." Especially when the price is this low.
@thesheaux: It is a third party seller on amazon who has sent their inventory to amazon warehouses for fulfillment. This seller Electronica Direct has a 4.8 star rating over the past twelve months with 53,327 ratings. That's pretty damn good.
Here is their storefront: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aag/details/ref=aag_m_ss?ie=UTF8&isAmazonFulfilled=1&marketplaceID=ATVPDKIKX0DER&isCBA=&seller=A2JUPN4BTA3CZV#aag_legalInf
@mfladd: You're correct. This seller does indeed have very solid ratings. I'm not trying to point at this (or any) particular seller. I'm merely stating that in my experience, upon close inspection of DVDs I had received, they merely appeared to be factory-sealed, and I would say that the majority of buyers would neither notice nor care about the difference, as long as the discs play flawlessly. But even so, at $2.80, I guess you can't go wrong!
@superninja: get it. for the price the extras are worth it. i have the 3- disc BR. fun stuff.
Ordered one @ Christmas, arrived with the case broken and the disc scratched as a result. Amazon will only issue a refund because it is not their item, you have the reorder the dvd if you want another copy. Also, even though the digital copy has expired, you can still use it.
@stark: I just bought another blu-ray with a digital copy that expired years ago and it said that the digital copy was meant only for people who bought the movie around the release date. So I guess not really any good reason.
$0.25 tax kills the deal for me.
@stark: I was able to use the code for the digital copy that came with the dvd I ordered.
wow, good find. that is a crazy cheap price for a really good flick
Price is now $7.00. He's dead Jim! RIP the deal, dammit!
