Pay 33 now get 17 back in a year. I bet it will be obsolete before I get the rebate. It is a good product though I have some 16 giggers I bought for half that price no-rebate.

@repsol05: It's USB 3.0 I doubt it will be obsolete any time soon. It's been around since 2008 but barely anything even uses 3.0 as of right now. Hell 2.0 was released in 2000 but everyone was still using 1.1 until about 2004.

@rabidmonkeyoncrack: Haha I was referring to how long it takes to get rebates back. I mentioned it was a good product. I have a few 3.0 16 gigs that work well. I just hate rebates, not the product.

@bowlingb: This rebate is from CORSAIR. I have bought dozens of things from Newegg and have NEVER had a rebate fulfilled by Newegg...only the manufacturer. You should blame the manufacturer of the item- not Newegg.

Now Tigerdirect is a whole different animal...they have "lost" several rebates that I submitted (and YES- it was Tigerdirect that was the "fulfiller" of the rebate). I will never do business with Tigerdirect again!
