Does it come with uranium?

@woottert: These dishes are lead and cadmium free!

Fiesta is made in the USA,(to be exact - the Ohio River Valley). "NOT CHINA" The quality is extremely good and this company is still owned and operated by third fourth and fifth generations of the same families that purchased the original company around 1890's. They account for many jobs in that area of the country without any gov't subsidies or handouts.
And, oh Yes, I am not affiliated with the company in any way, I am a user of their product and will remain so as long as they are manufactured in the USA.

@swampjj: It's nice to hear that Fiesta hasn't been bought out. There are also individual Fiesta pieces on sale at Boscov's.

Thoughts on how this stuff's stackability and lightness are compared to Corelle dishes?

5piece set for ONE PERSON setting. so its actually ~$60 for the four person table setting. At least its American, and free shipping. Go USA!

@racinreaver: Fiesta is heavier than Corelle. Corelle is made from laminated glass. Fiesta is made of fully vitrified clay (more durable than the older Fiesta) with a glossy glaze.

Fiestaware's good stuff. Good, solid everyday use, with lush, vibrant colors that last for decades. My folks got a set for their wedding, and they still use them.

For those confused by the uranium comment above, there was a run of them years and years ago that used lead and uranium to produze a VERY beautiful glaze... then folks found out how bad both were in dishware. They're highly prized by collectors with lead boxes.

@swampjj: I live in Fiesta Land (near the Ohio river) and I find Fiestaware in thrift stores, flea markets, etc., like the plates are McDonald's toys. I know a lot of people who scour for it and make e-shops for Fiestaware. I've never understood the addiction.

It shows as $26.99 for me, but that's still an awesome deal.

@xindy924: The prices are now wrong on the page that this deal is linked to, but the page shows all of the colors available. It will show as $19.99 when you click through to any of the individual sets. Definitely $19.99 in cart.

Be aware...it states that if you order more than one set...it's no longer free shipping, and additional shipping charges apply. :)

vote-for1vote-against

@azcandleco: It doesn't state that specifically. Instead the site states:

When ordering multiples of this item, additional shipping fees may be charged. Before levying such charge, we will contact you with the proposed amount of the charge. If you do not want to accept the surcharge, we will cancel your order without any penalty to you.

I was curious and contacted Boscov's about it. She couldn't tell me for sure whether or not the charges would be higher until the order processed (they then contact you if it's overweight). I've ordered from Boscov's a couple of times without any problems. I would contact them if you have any questions.
