Im flying back from atlanta after on a conference on the 1st. Missing the cutoff feels bad man.

I just searched from CLE to DFW on both Southwest and Continental, two adults, for a week and a half in January. The Continental flight was a non-stop, both ways, and the Southwest had 2 stops. And the Continental was about $30 cheaper for two people.

I really need this deal to include April. I need to buy tickets for April, but Feb is too early :( That stinks. Wonder how I can find deals like this later? Any ideas?

@djenkins1982: Did you consider that you're going to have to pay for checked luggage on Continental? (And lose it? Continental is notorious for that)

@irene1179: It depends on the distance of the flight. Longer ones have different rates for the sale. Also, not all flights are discounted. I looked at some for a flight I take fairly often, and they only marked down one or two of the flights out of the eight or so offered per day.

Just bought two round-trip tickets from Nashville to San Antonio (trip wifey and I have been wanting to take) for $370 total including fees. Not bad when you break it down per person/per trip.

This deal saved me about 50% for my trip over Christmas break from BNA-ABQ and then back into BHM. I am SOOOO glad I waited to book it! I believe these prices are only good until Thursday so hurry up and book now. Also, they are only good on certain flights on certain days so you do best if you are somewhat negotiable on days...

I hate, hate, hate Southwest. They are more expensive than their competitors and you don't get an assigned seat. (This means I usually don't get to sit to my wife... ok, maybe that's a plus.) But I diGEST... I hate SWA. But at $30 each way? Already booked it. Didn't even get the time off approved at work or a hotel yet.

Seriously though: most SWA deals are $30 one way, then the return trip is inexplicably $150 or something ridiculous. This is the real deal! Lost wages, here I come.
