@a237916: worked for me. Maybe since I'm on pacific time? It says on the site the deal expires October 28th. Booked 4 flights for uber cheap. Excellent deal!

$450 for me and my husband to fly round trip to PHX from New Orleans. Not bad.

650.0 from DC to New Orleans,LA.... can't beat that with a stick!

Just to echo what some other people said - be sure to check other airlines. I looked at Southwest for a SEA to SNA trip and ended up booking on Alaska Airlines instead. Alaska's flights are non-stop, while Southwest's flight include a stop. The end result is not only a quicker flight, but a cheaper flight because of less airport and federal segment taxes. And while the price is a wash once checked baggage fees on Alaska are factored in, who wouldn't want to fly non-stop instead of turning a 2.5 hour trip into a 5 hour trip?

tons of cheap ones still left--

Just booked a roundtrip from Tampa to Philly for 140 for MLKJ weekend! I am so excite!

vote-for2vote-against

@pleepleus - Protip: You can check in online up to 24 hours before your flight for free. This gets you an earlier boarding group and number, which you can then use to pick the seat you want.

vote-for2vote-against

I see Alaska airlines also has the same offer for the Seattle flight I already booked so it looks like the competition is responding with similar offers....

vote-for1vote-against

I hate, hate, hate Southwest. They are more expensive than their competitors and you don't get an assigned seat. (This means I usually don't get to sit to my wife... ok, maybe that's a plus.) But I diGEST... I hate SWA. But at $30 each way? Already booked it. Didn't even get the time off approved at work or a hotel yet.

Seriously though: most SWA deals are $30 one way, then the return trip is inexplicably $150 or something ridiculous. This is the real deal! Lost wages, here I come.

Got a great deal to visit my sister in Seattle - Thanks for sharing this deal!!

vote-for1vote-against

No Sunday flights included in the deal.
Otherwise, this is a great deal.

This deal saved me about 50% for my trip over Christmas break from BNA-ABQ and then back into BHM. I am SOOOO glad I waited to book it! I believe these prices are only good until Thursday so hurry up and book now. Also, they are only good on certain flights on certain days so you do best if you are somewhat negotiable on days...

Just bought two round-trip tickets from Nashville to San Antonio (trip wifey and I have been wanting to take) for $370 total including fees. Not bad when you break it down per person/per trip.

vote-for1vote-against

Yessss!!! Booked a flight to NY in Dec. and another to Austin in Feb. Sweet Deal!

vote-for2vote-against

If you're going over 450 miles, and you have layovers where the connecting flights are < 450 miles, then you still get the discount on those flights. Therefore, Boston to NC is $60 each way. Huzzah!

vote-for2vote-against

Awesome! Just rebooked my flight to vegas from albany in december, and saved $50

$261 total after taxes and whatnot, I'll take it!

vote-for1vote-against

@irene1179: It depends on the distance of the flight. Longer ones have different rates for the sale. Also, not all flights are discounted. I looked at some for a flight I take fairly often, and they only marked down one or two of the flights out of the eight or so offered per day.

vote-for3vote-against

is there a promo code? cause everything i have tried for 3 people has been in the 300 to 400 dollar range, even though it says its a 30$ deal

vote-for1vote-against

Just booked a flight to Hartford, CT for a sking trip (wish it was closer to VT). That will save me 8 hours of driving and only cost the 2 of us $81 dollars. Crazy deal.

vote-for1vote-against

@djenkins1982: Did you consider that you're going to have to pay for checked luggage on Continental? (And lose it? Continental is notorious for that)

vote-for1vote-against

Nashville to Chicago (Widway) $30...We might just fly instead of driving...but Christmas prices we $81...

vote-for1vote-against

Wow, this is a great deal. Too bad that I take so long to make plans. I'll probably end up missing the deal.

vote-for1vote-against

Been looking for an excuse to go to Las Vegas for the AVN's....seems SWA just made it happen!

vote-for1vote-against

I really need this deal to include April. I need to buy tickets for April, but Feb is too early :( That stinks. Wonder how I can find deals like this later? Any ideas?

vote-for1vote-against

Bummer, no deals for Philly to Orlando :(

vote-for14vote-against

The perfect deal for terrorists trying to save money.

vote-for1vote-against

I just searched from CLE to DFW on both Southwest and Continental, two adults, for a week and a half in January. The Continental flight was a non-stop, both ways, and the Southwest had 2 stops. And the Continental was about $30 cheaper for two people.

vote-for1vote-against

This is an amazing deal. Unfortunately, Southwest doesn't fly to Atlanta (yet - waiting on Airtran acquisition to take effect). This lines up perfectly with my winter break! :(

vote-for1vote-against

Im flying back from atlanta after on a conference on the 1st. Missing the cutoff feels bad man.

vote-for1vote-against

Wow, i second the how is this not popluar yet. I am going to vegas in january and this is going to make my trip even cheaper!

vote-for6vote-against

How is this NOT popular yet?

vote-for1vote-against

Not bad. With taxes that cost $81 round trip.
