Plus almost $25 shipping, for less than a pound and a half of food. If it was actually lobster (instead of steak and cheese), that still works out to around $50/lb.

How is this a deal?

{And the description doesn't even tell you how many portions are included, only the shipped weight.]

Sears says the shipping weight is 23 lbs. so that would explain the large shipping charge. BUT! If this is the same thing that is on the Lobster Gram website the actual weight is only 16.8 ounces for 24 of the little buggers. The seller at Sears.com (not really Sears) has inflated the shipping weight most likely to get more money out of the deal. The same thing happened to me at Target when they wanted to charge me $17 to ship a kids backpack that weighed 15 lbs...????? It really weighed 1.2 lbs.

This is no deal. If you MUST have them rather than make it yourself using bacon, top sirloin, gorgonzola cheese then I'd suggest ordering them at the website below. It's cheaper too.

Dang, I read that as 23 ounces, not pounds. But I'm sure it was a typo, as the actual weight (16.8 oz) plus packaging should come to about 23 ounces.

Ordering from livelob.com is also tax free outside of IL.
