YEE HAW! seriously some good stuff here, one of my all time favorites (next to Fanta Birch Beer, of course)

shipping starts at $11.95 business, 13.95 home

no root beer is that good

@fit410s: Don't worry, we'll return to normally scheduled woot programing tomorrow. If you're looking for real deals search "-cowboy"

@cowboydann: programming? are you real or a robot?

This is from my state and it's pretty awesome. Sarsaparilla is delicious and similar to root beer but usually with a somewhat simpler ingredient list. All that said I'd have a hard time justifying the purchase if I couldn't pick it up locally. If you're into quality rootbeer/sarsaparilla, it may be worth checking out.

Yeah, that's some pretty expensive shipping. Even ordering 12 bottles, shipping comes out to nearly $24. A $40 12-pack better be darn good. I'm going to have to look around locally before I shell out that kind of coin for some soda.

They used to carry this at a smokehouse/restaurant waay out in the country when I was a kid (long time ago, wild bison used to rule the plains). I'd love going there so I could get the neat Sioux City flavors with their cowboy themed cans. I never could figure out the difference between their Birch Beer & Sarsaparilla.
I havent seen this in almost 4 decades.

Very, very cool.

Sometimes you eat the bar and sometimes the bar eats you ...

@paisannyc: I saw that deal but I didn't know if white rock was the same as this stuff.

Also please don't buy this deal It's a great rootbeer but you should try to find this one locally guys (try a specialty wine store that stocks thousands of wines beers and sodas, they usually have them. Ours in CA is called BevMo)

@alan40oz: YES! A thousand times YES! Everyone give your upvotes to this wooter

$1.39 for a 12 ounce bottle?? where's the deal? you can get a 12 ounce bottle of Stewart's root beer (just as good) at Cracker Barrels for 99 cents

vote-for2vote-against

Not too bad of a deal until you look at shipping. $13 for a single bottle, or $24 for a case. That would make it nearly $60 for a case. Sorry, no rootbeer is worth that much money.

Some folks just ain't gettin' the theme.....

Great deal if you're addicted to it and you don't live within 300 miles of a grocery store. Otherwise, this is the lamest deal of the day.

As far as Sarsaparilla goes I've only had this and a rare Kansas City Sarsaparilla. But I would agree with the cowboy that this is a good one. If you like sodas this would really tie your collection together.

seriously guys don't buy it from here. See if you can find a local supplier

It's good but it's not 40 dollars a case good.

@cowboydann: Such as? I can never seem to find a place that deals in exotic sodas like this. Hell, the only place I can find Big Blue is a gas station in the ghetto.

@alexmg2420: http://www.whiterockbeverages.com/WhereToBuy.cfm You can ask them. I doubt they'd sign you up for spam but just to be on the safe side you can use a secondary email I suppose... I honestly don't expect any spam from these guys though.

or pick up from walmart as posted above

vote-for2vote-against

@domenci: Yes you could pick up the 24 pack of from wal-mart. I'm just making a suggestion in case someone doesn't want to drop 30 dollars on something they're not even sure they'll like.

I did a little research and White Rock is the company that makes the stuff but what threw me off is I was used to seeing White rock as A RC-Cola kind of company. As long as it says White Rock Sioux City You're good and that will be the stuff you're looking for.

(Also, If he can find someone that carries Sioux City maybe he can find someone to get his other specialty drinks in a less shady place)

I'm not a fan of creme sodas, or of root beers, this is true,
But I'd kill a man, and strangle his horse for a sarsaparilla or two.
It started when I was a carny, back in september of the year 2001,
At a fair in hot springs, on a very hot day, long before my work was done,
Some locals had a booth selling Sioux City, and kettle corn,
For a buck a bottle it served me better than the internet serves porn.
Alas I can rarely find it since, all local distributors fail,
Within a hundred miles, to find this drink is rarer than mexican hail.
So while there's better deals to find in local shops for some,
If you've never had or seen it before, just buy it, don't be dumb!
