Toys R Us does this all the time.... run a search on the stores... start punching in the zip codes this is not available within 50 miles of any store they have...doesn't that stand to reason then that it is not available from them? When you ask customer service they give you the run around. I said just tell me where it's available and I will get it they can't because their practices are like bait and switch... BAD FORM

Actually, these were on sale earlier for $105 but sold out (amazon reviews scared me so I didn't get one). Ebay had it also for 129.98 (I posted it earlier) but they also sold out.

and conveniently not available for shipping to your home either.

They only have a limited supply, so they can't send out to every store and give it shelf space. So they make it an online-only offer and ship when they are purchased. Stores do this all the time, including the big box stores. Wal-Mart, BestBuy, Staples, etc.

No, you can't go in and see one and get a feel for the picture, but other than that I don't see what the problem is. If you don't like it, just return it to the store where you picked it up.

Website won't even let you look at it. It scrolls down and forces you to choose a link somewhere else. Ralph Nader Scam bait and switch

@fsharpster: Remove the # from the URL and you can peruse the item. Doesn't let you get it though.
