Ok, I would personally wait for a Cigars International deal just to get the glass topped humidor. But this looks ok too.

The cigars are worth the $3.50 each you would pay. Even if you throw out the cohibas (which I will do), the others are still >$5.

But the deal is fabulous when you add a decent lighter. The humidor can hold spare change for all I care - if it's any good at all, this deal is a fricking steal.

I got this lighter in a similar deal from cigar.com, really good lighter. This is a great deal. The cigars are alright but not bad (prefered nicaraguan), small rings for the medium pallate. Still Can't Beat this cost for what you get. I wish I needed another humidor.

As everyone always says, great company/website to deal with.

Of course some people don't particularly like every cigar, I personally really like all three of these, and the Cohibas and Monticristos are both very expensive by themselves making this deal worth it purely from a financial point of view.

I love those Monte Cristo's, but this is just an ok deal. I'm not a fan of the Cohiba's, but most people seem to enjoy them. This does look to be a slightly better humidor than the normal cigars.com humidor. Going to pass this time.

@heathalweaon: I'm seeing that item at full price ($104). Would be awesome if it could be had for the $24.99 in the description. Is there a code or something that needs to be entered?

I got that lighter on there last deal. I have about 300 lighters. I own mainly Colibri and ST Dupont but I have a few Xikar and liked how they always work. This lighter is cool the way it opens by pushing the middle. Also if you contact Xikar they will send you a free lighter sleeve.

I also added the $30 Bahia 10 pack bundle and saved $6 on the shipping for the entire order

vote-for3vote-against

@nerdelectric: I'll send you the cohibas for free, if you would enjoy them. let me know, we can take it off line - but no catch. I would love to know that they would be going to a good home!

@fuquois: no code - but if you have recently ordered, you are not eligible. you could try to make a new account - but I think - if it has the same address, it's a no go. Maybe a buddy can take the shipment for you and hold them till you can get 'em? :)

Would really like to see more deals with just cigars themselves. I have so many lighters I'm giving them away too. Heck, I even have an extra humidor I'm not using.

That being said, these are a good price for all of them. Never had any issues placing orders with this company either.

I'd trade a couple of stogies for a lighter...

vote-for3vote-against

@heathalweaon: They are not Cigars.com, they are cigar.com. but I see what you mean.

@fuquois: http://www.cigarsinternational.com/prodDisp.asp?item=sp-ca42 **Note: Copy and paste the URL into your browser, seems to work that way

@krebsie58: My bad, ment cigar.com

To my knowledge, cigars intl. and cigar.com belong to the same company. Both great places to buy from and usually the best deals.

vote-for3vote-against

I also received one of these exact lighters in a previous deal and I was expecting the typical cheapy you'd usually receive in a package deal like this, but it's actually a surprisingly good lighter.

vote-for3vote-against

@vanevenhoven: lol, I don't understand the negatives - I'm trying to say it's a great deal. Despite my personal dislike of one kind, the deal is quite good. I ordered one, in fact. lol - I guess tone doesn't come through well.

I would have bought 2 if I were able to. As it were, I bought another one of the combos posted on this thread - I'll have an extra humidor if someone wants to pay shipping, I'd send it to them.

vote-for3vote-against

@rdnkjdi: i'll trade with you. i trade with a lot of people on http://www.reddit.com/r/cigars

let's set up a verification trade for you and make that trade. what do you think?

vote-for3vote-against

@vanevenhoven: I will be happy to have your Cohiba trash LOL... they are great for friends that I have that aren't hard core smokers, and for when I want a second or third and want something a little lighter..... anyways that all said I ordered my kit for my local cigar club events that I do with friends... good keep kit, and that humidor is good to take to events that I go to or have....

vote-for2vote-against

in for one. ive needed a lighter and all the decent ones start at 30 anyways. its like getting 10 free smokes and a humidor lol.

vote-for3vote-against

@c3wifjah: Sounds good - I'm rdnkjdi. Not sure how to setup a verification trade....

vote-for3vote-against

@vanevenhoven: I ordered last month from them and when I saw your post figured my order was going to get canceled but I just got my shipped email so all is good. Now I did order the $30 Bahia free shipping deal with my order so that might have given me the reason why I got it

vote-for1vote-against

I know nothing about cigars so if I get something like this will it "keep" until Christmas ?

vote-for1vote-against

@jmbunkin: well the thing about cigars is that you have to keep them in 70 degree temps/70% humidity for them to stay fresh. any drier/colder/warmer than that and they tend to either grow mold or will get so dry that they will burn super fast

vote-for1vote-against

@jmbunkin: I may be a little rough by then, but not to worry, CI has these deals often, and there will be more when it would "keep" until Christmas. Think Thanksgiving to Dec 15th or so - and surely they will have a similar offer. Check here or on slickdealsdotcom (no underlines) around that time. BTW, this would make a fabulous gift!

Thanks for the feedback, will keep an eye out for future deals.

@delevine73: I'll send you some - pm me with your email address and we can figure it out from there.
