Hunter Fan - Thermostats - Comfort Saver 7 Day Programmable Thermostat with Room Control™ - 44668 for $39.99
Lets you monitor or control temperature in a different room from your thermostat. You can control the temperature using the thermostat, the remote sensor (which you can carry with you) or the average of the two.
Despite the so-so reviews in Amazon, I have 3 of these (it saves rewiring thermostats) & they work fine.
I suggest downloading the manual from here:

as the manual in the units I had was out of date
as a service tech for 15 yrs would not recommend hunter
I mistakenly added the link to the Spanish manual - english is here:

We decided to buy this a few months back because we have a 3-4 degree difference from our bedroom to the downstairs. The room control works great as we can set the thermostat to maintain the remote temp. So now I can sleep in comfort! Then my wife can bring the unit to whatever room she wants to hang out in while I'm at work. Really cool feature.
I bought one of these from Lowe's in April for ~$50. It failed on us in July and had to be replaced. It also didn't work consistently while we had it. A service guy suggested we stay away from Hunter and other cheap brands and, if we insist on getting something at Lowe's or Home Depot, stick with Honeywell. Did so and it's be rock solid ever since. My recommendation: stay away from this "deal."
This unit is very unreliable. I am trying desperately to find a replacement for the one I own. I didn't realize when I installed it that the batteries actually run the thing, they aren't just for backup. Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of remote thermostats out there to choose from.
